Private use is an odd subject... if I stop on the way home at tesco, grab some food and or just grub, or just fuel, that ain't in the scope!

Bin day on a bit of road with cars parked at the pavement on the offside, couple of gaps but a chicane at either end. The bin lorry heading my way, but wouldn't pull in. I noticed that he couldn't pass me and cars stuck in the chicane behind - nowhere for anyone to go so went up the pavement on my passenger side, took 6 seconds to pass bin lorry, but a pedestrian appeared out of a drive. BOOOM! Oncoming car had dashcam. Guilty of dangerously and carelessly propelling an engine driven device along a pavement.

They can be a good thing to defend yourself in an incident or prosecute yourself or others in a misdemeanor! Out of a class of 24 miscreants such as myself for driving up the pavement, 19 had been dobbed in to the 50 by dash cam footage or GoPro headcams!

Not sure how it works for sure! Stopping at Tesco was okay on the way home, but trip to seaside wasn't! Check with your accountant?

I was told in the past, by HMRC, that as I technically work from home, it would be easy for me to give up the private mileage even if I used the truck to go to the shops! That is called 'inconsequential mileage' and not worth getting het up about. Driving to see the old folk in Devon or a day at the coast 8s private mileage that has to be paid for!

Itcould cost me an extra £300 per month to do my work! Or my employer will have to increase my salary and pay even more PAYE! How does that encourage growth?

Drop the dead donkey was epic, but you had to have heard the news over the preceding days! I used to watch then get to pub where everyone else had done the same!

Budget!?! Don't know where the common sense went with these people. We are quite close to zero unemployment and she is taxing everyone to pay for giga factories in the North East which has no usable, available labour! She is spending gazillions on the NHS which sees recruitment of nursing staff down again so where are the staff coming from an how long does it take to train these people? Hundreds of new build inspectors which again, need years of training and certification and we are struggling to build the houses as we don't have the labour! They went wild about the cost/benefit ratio of HS2 yet plan to underground it to Euston and build a cross pennine route amongst other routes like Oxford to Cambridge! What a load of nincompoops!
