  1. Morning Folks. Think an old colleague has passed. His house is for sale and he said that it would go on the market after they nailed the lid down on his coffin. Time marches on..... Purr, Sway, sieve.
  2. Awake with yes, Yorkshire's finest. She doing Doncaster 10k run and it is miserable out! Eggcells, Bread, Cheat.
  3. A shredder works very differently from a chipper. Typically, and it is a generality, stuff you put in a chipper ain't for a shredder and stuff for a shredder don't go well in a chipper! Those blades are 'scuffed' about but they will still shredder stuff up,
  4. Doxy - keen stuff! Three days time you'll be dancing the light fandango! I keep a stock of it at home for when the next bout of pneumonia comes! Have lifetime supply of carbocistene which loosens stuff and makes it easier to rid the the lungs of loose packing! The missus is use to the breathing gurgles and whistles now....
  5. Morning Team. Finally sorted a firestick to watch rugby! Dullard was putting in wrong password! Decent lay up tomorrow so thought would post early! Enjoy your own day! Addle, Esscence
  6. Clear and cold here. In a bad sleep pattern at the moment. Might be in bed early on a Friday! Just getting a tea and doing the crossword before chasing about! Tray, Taurus.
  7. Just re seen this. Sold the 090 as a runner, the 880 needs rubbers but was running and the 39 is still in the bucket!
  8. Not sure that the safety bar is as the HSE spec myself! It chipsxand blows and that is the main thing though
  9. John Prescott croaked!
  10. Morning All. Tom been up since 3 so I ain't slept that well! Off to Newark Showground and just realised that I haven't really got a decent jumper etc to wear under coat so going to be cold and bored! Tar, Rub, Able.
  11. Sort of Greggs slice! You tried their Katsu curry slices? Nice!
  12. Better than Aunt Bessie's I suppose!
  13. They look hand reared!
  14. Why is the house etc coming down?
  15. Home cooked ham, mustard from powder so right keen, air fried chips, decent golden yolk eggs and a beans/tomato mix. Spray of Worcester sauce to boot!
  16. I sometimes miss the smell of the drying ballistics, gloves and boots in a kitchen with a damp Alsation added to the mix!

    Jokes???

A mate married the daughter of a chap who ran a vineyard in France. Epic period and developed a love of Muscadet in me! He sent some stuff off to be brewed in Champagne but the controlling body would not allow him to sell it as fizzy muscadet. It became a limited run for family use only. His farm had been an Abbey and the Sisters started the vineyard so his family fizzy was labelled as "Nun's Fart". The Appelation Controlee could not disapprove of the label, only refuse the license to market or sell!
  18. I do wonder how much revenue they take off folk like me which they will loose as we just decide that we won't have the private mileage element and just use it for inconsequential things?
  19. Damn cold out! Yorkshire tea and crossword then up and at a desk, although, we got a machine at the Midland Machinery Show in Newark. Glad it is an indoor spot! Colleague assisting Fentons of Bourne on their stand and I'll be there tomorrow! Purse, Unable.
  20. Awake far to early! Wet slushy start to the day. Ark, Tic, Turns.
  21. Sorry, was up,and away before I could think! Usual routine out of the window!
  22. The vet I took the old cat to was very good, seeing how upset I was, she was great. Did the job on the cat but as she said, "we could spend a grand and got him to last a few more months, but to what end?" Sad that some would have lengthened the process in the name of humanity but she euthanised him with animal welfare in mind. Years back, a vet told me that they give a lot of time and money with farmers and other animal owners who cannot or even will not pay their bill, out of love for animals. He said "if you want to give him compensation for that horse, give it to me and I'll give a bit to each of those he owes too!"
  23. BOOM! Tad early but have a good day Y'all. Christening Harry Joseph Champion today and the after do is in the pub! Epic! Sobering thought, I wanted to write a beer IOU in the card, but I will be 78 and probably in the ground by then!
  24. In bed and warm! Yorkshire tea and she gone for a run! Utter madness..... Hearty, Chokes.
  25. Enjoy the last of the decent weather and crack on for the weekend is upon us! Seize, Strait.
