  1. On my rounds I've seen more dead Elm than previously, ADB is massive everywhere, Sycamores seem to have Sooty Bark, Poplars are affected similarly and several other species are distressed too! Chestnuts trees are done for the year a tad early too!
  2. Morning Team. Being chauffeured to a meeting today! Writers, Reign.
  3. Home made ham, egg, chips and cauliflower cheese with a speckled hen! He swapped cauliflower for mushy peas avec chilly flakes!
  4. Morning All. More driving and talking to Newcastle and back. War, Tup, Hypes.
  5. I'm not a fish fan but Kedgeree triggered a memory so I made some but the brand/type/strength of turmeric made my lips tingle and the taste went metallic! Been quite suspicious of curries since!
  6. Love this - 5ltr Ford Focus on the log book!
  7. Morning Team. Dark this time of day now! Incase, Hear, Runt.
  8. Granted, no security by the door but most others do! No alarms etc in meat etc, easy target. But, why are people compelled to break the law and why is the response so negative!?!

    Any work

Fair days work for fair days pay!
  10. Caz and I were just going in to our local Co Op to see a younger bloke rushing in. Before we got to the door, he rushed out and ran across the carpark! He was clutching two bottles of wine and just legged it out and looked back as he got to the edge of the property. My lad works in Retail at a local Morrison's and amazes us with tales of the daily occurances of theft and how little is done to curb this crime. The Police cannot get there quick enough, often, the CPS cannot prosecute, they cannot put up pictures of the thief's mugs, thief's think that they will be unchallenged as they are gypsy's, foreign nationals, racial minorities, homeless or just don't care that they are thieving! Don't know what the answer is...
  11. Pan dried lamb neck fillets, cheesy chips, spinach salad with garden mint sauce!
  12. Morning All, decent lie in! Pottering today. Spill, Nick, Inns.
  13. Today got the 1948 Austin out of the garage to take to the new owner making way for a V8 Focus. Haven't got the time to fettle anymore really! Had a load of fun and therapy with the Austin but it is for someone else now. The 5ltr Focus is a sleeper which the 82 year old previous owner raced at Santa Pod and York.
  14. Awake too early, will be asleep early too! Best find some energy pills as I got a busy day and she will want taking to the pub too! Inate, Tension.
  15. Orzo pasta, chicken and salad bowl. Sweet bowl to chase it about and cold Stella!
  16. Morning All. Few emails to do then off to sort some stuff for next week. Countdown to holidays as well! Highly, Sill, Lassie.
  17. Morning All, has ra8ned at some point and is grey and still! A few ticklish problems tp solve today, fall out that I'd been promised was resolved but appears not to have been done. Robber, Done, Hero.
  18. That herby garlic chicken thang and introducing a tomato Mediterranean salad! With Luke warm Stella!
  19. Awake too early again, up for tea in a mo. Cur, Tan, Nooks.
  20. Red sky last night and this morning! Morning All. Gill, Owe, Teen.
  21. I tried Radio 1 the other day and was put off by the winch with the Welsh accent. It seems that the regional accent and openly gay are de riguer on the radio!
  22. She got the tea but not come back to bed. Bugger. DIY jobs again, just fettling stuff. Annie, Mated, Cartoon.
  23. Banana in a stew? Strewth......
