  1. Don't keep the price down if it's going to effect the quality. Whats the maximum weight it's been tested too?
  2. I presume that if this product is CE marked that it comes with full user instructions and test certificates to back up the 1250 kg swl.
  3. So would a 3 way snap hook be allowed?
  4. Pete I actually said that wearing braces helps the trousers to fit correctly and stops the crotch from sitting to low. If these trousers had failed with-in the first few weeks then yes there might of been a manufacturing defect. But by your own admission these trousers have been worn nearly every day for the past 8 months. You have also forgotten to mention that i offered to repair these trousers free of charge as a guesture of good will.
  5. Because the construction of the rope does not meet CE requirements
  6. I'm not sure your boss has the Stein Helmet as the first shipment only arrived last week.
  7. Pete your right again Jo-Beau is a much bigger outfit than the company that produce that GMR100 for you guy's. Cheers
  8. But let's be honest about this, the Jo-Beau is the original small drum chipper. Now with the Model M400 with a 20Hp Honda Engine, this unit is nothing but awesome

But who's prepared to pay the Buckingham price tag on this new Harness, especially with the exchange rate at present.

Have you tried the new sintung head
  11. Thats the Samson Foam filled Rope. I'd leave it at Sherrill's.
  12. That rope from Samson with the foam core was launched at TCIA last year. But it will never pass CE and i'm not sure it will stay on the market for long as the inner foam core tends to break up when shock loaded. The orignal design was to put a dynema core in it, but this got replaced by foam due to costs etc. Yale tried something similar about 15 years ago but gave it up as a bad idea due to the problems of the foam.
  13. It's not a stronger/thicker plastic, it's a different type of plastic. As for the cradle the Stein has a new concept of cradle with a much improved adjustment system which also caters for the smaller head. It also allows for better adjustment on the chin strap which in turn allows a much closer fitting earmuff Also your helmet is the model which is rated to EN397 and not the newer version which is now rated to EN12492.
  14. Sorry now you've really confused me!
  15. How do you get more for your money with the Petzl? If fitted with the correct screws as supplied with the STEIN Helmet this is not an issue. Visors are a personnel choice. But at least with the Stein you get this choice
  16. Compare this new Saw with the little AMA saw, and you'll see there's VERY little difference. Apart from the Price
  17. Justin Try some of the other models too. Early reports have been good.
  18. Ed There's no H in wine, Oh and that was a personnal joke between me and Pete. Try spell check next time.
  19. Why the sudden push? Martin struggling selling them? Or has he just run out of dirty tricks!!
  20. Take a look at the Jo-Beau range.
  21. Ropey Do any of your Arborist Ropes conform to CE or Certified to CE yet?
  22. I think your talking about the RP703 or the RP704
