But until you do. It's nice to know that such tools are available. And thanks Old Dude for taking the time to pass on your first hand experiance of using such tools. Even if at some points during the thread you wondered why you bothered.
  3. I'm sure reidy wasn't after opinions on other Boots, but was after advice on his existing Boots. I think the best advice would be to follow up on Nigel's reply. Their are plenty of Forum members who are very happy with their Klima Air Boots and the quality of the construction. Hope you get the problem sorted.
  4. My suggestion would be to wait for the new Stretch-Air UL standard trousers due to be launched Jan-Feb 2011 before making that decision. If you can wait that long:001_smile: That is presuming you are the same Bostonbull from over the water:confused1:
  5. I'm sure your brain can work it out Johnny, just think harder.
  6. Yes Pete but their only Type"A" I think Rock Monkeys after viable alternatives in a Type"C". Not Sure your risk assesment for Type"A" use (if climbing) will stand up in these Cold conditions:001_tt2:
  7. My Car doors make a great closing noise but not sure i'd buy another:001_tongue:
  8. This could be because they are a little more expensive in size 12. May have to give the guys a call
  9. Try the Cofra Power Boots as they come in size 13 and at just over £ 100 they are great value.
  10. Even if your grip is good, Imori is a great rope to use. And as mentioned earlier Imori is great in wet conditions.
  11. i think i've got a new friend
  12. James What grade of leather is used in this Boot?
  13. Idiots Hey
  14. It sounds like you have the HCA2400. If that is the case i think they are around £350 ish. Hope that helps
  15. So if you sold some ladders to a consumer and God forbid they have an accident. Does that mean its your responsibility? and your product liability insurance to cover any claims? Would your Insurance Company cover such a claim or would they simply say that their are existing EN requirements for Ladders, so if this product does not meet them and is not CE approved, then they would reject the claim??? It would be interesting to find out.
  16. Is it that these Ladders have no CE mark because they fail to meet EN requirements rather than the fact that their is no EN standard for these type of Ladders? Also if they Fail for what ever reason, is there going to be any Product Liability Insurance for a Consumer to fall back on? and who does that Liability fall upon, Retailer/Distributor/Manufacturer?
  17. Shame they don't come in Type "C"
  18. Is this the model sold by De-Wild in Holland
  19. Yep and feel like a tank:001_smile:
  20. Need the right management!
  21. Try the Pfanner Gladiators in Red Type"A". The material on the back of the legs help to disbures the heat better. Try TREETOOLS i think they should be stocking the Pfanner trousers soon.
  22. Are progress Type A or C or Both?
  23. Their are also Hygeine replacment kits available for the inner coolmax padding
  24. Yes it is Pete
  25. It is not manufacturerd to the standard of either the Greenmech or Jo-Beau units
