  1. Can't we have an Arbtalk Lounge at the shows next year with nice big sofa's and maybe a big Plasma screen????
  2. Steve Anyone can mod a chainsaw, but the consiquences have to be looked at i.e change in emissons, voiding any warranty's, changing vibration figures and changing chain speeds. People are not always aware of the fact that changing the chain speed could mean that all that expensive PPE that your wearing would probably be pretty useless in an accident.
  3. I go away for a few days and Look, I miss all the FUN!
  4. Oh yes! and lots of them.
  5. Bob have you tried Gustharts up in the North East?
  6. Oregon is the Cheaper option for both the Retailer and end user. But try getting comparable links from both Stihl and Oregon, you will then see the difference for yourself. Personally after selling Stihl, Oregon, Winsor and Husqvarna chain, I will now only Stock and Sell Stihl Chain
  7. Which Lavoro Boot is it your wearing?

Ed where do you get your Bar lenghts from? Surely you mean a 25" or 30"
  9. Now your starting something much bigger
  10. Yes Please! I need a new Pen holder.
  11. Fully agree! Apart from the fact that reading anything that Sally Drury writes is not worth reading to start with. Please Hortiweek get a new writer who knows about the Industry.
  12. That's because most are off the Road (tracked)
  13. Timberwolf = 450 Jensen = 300 Tunnissen / Kwik Chip = 65 JBM = 15/20 Schliesing / Premier = 45 Schliesing / Prochip = 25 Vermeer = 75 Greenmech = 170(UK) More Educated Guess
  14. Yep I Agree PeteB! There are much better British and German built chippers out there anyway, without all the SALES crap needed to sell them.
  15. Yes there are quite a few new saw's from Silky but will we ever get to see them over Here? We only have the European Distributor to thank for that!
  16. Mike I don't think it's confusing, more like the manufacturer is sensible. Just because the machine has an 11" x 8" opening dosen't mean it HAS to be an 8" unit. YOU more than most should no that. Hat's off to them!
  17. I would love to see some of the new products from Silky come over the water, like the Natanoko 2000
  18. Of course, we sent them out with several people to try and nobody liked them. There too heavey and clumsey and the Zip on the front soon gets covered in crap and stops working. Serveral shops have looked at selling them, infact i think even Buxtons were having a go at the AA show.
  19. I didn't think anybody was mad enough to try and sell the Jolly Boots. I've had a pair sat under my desk for 6 months and every body i've shown them to so far break out in laughter. I'm sure they were designed by NASA for space walking.
  20. Build! Christ don't give him a spanner! he's much better with a pint pot.
  21. I've always thought a fully Galvenised trailer would be a great leap forward, but not sure if anybody does this yet?
  22. Nice Pic Mike Which show was that taken at?
  23. The problem over here is that we buy one pair of boots to do every kind of job. There for they get worn all day every day, but we still insist that they should last longer. Where as over in most other european countries they buy different boots for different work i.e Ground work, Climbing, Heavey Forestry and Clearing. Just like chainsaws. Imagine using your 026 for every job!
  24. Yeh! different colour yarns seem to slightly effect the feel of some ropes, but let me know how you get on.
