  1. You can buy mine if you want.
  2. Here's the 'Hummer H2 sucks' vid I mentioned in my previous post.... [ame]www.youtube.com/watch?v=EXP7qeEMEeU[/ame] You really wanna take one of these Micky Mouse P.O.S. out in the desert? They're built on the same running gear as a Chevy Tahoe.....'nuf said?
  3. Take it from me, you're smoking crack if you'd choose a Hummer over a Landcruiser. Google 'Hummer H2 Sucks' to see what I mean. I have put my Ram 2500 Power Wagon up against a Hummer off road.......I had to break out the tow strap to recover the Hummer more than once! The H2 is nice to go to the shops in and I might try driving one across a level field, but out in the desert? Give me a Landcruiser! (And this comes from a former Landrover driver).
  4. It is? Cool.......My boss at the last company I worked for gave it to me. Invaluable bit o' kit if you ask me.
  5. When it comes to thieving, the laws in the UK that dictate what you can legally do to defend your property/yourself are just painfully lame. Still blows me away what you lads have to put up with over there these days.
  6. And it's not as if you can get hold of coyote/wolf/bobcat urine over there, eh? I've seen the sonic repellents over here for trying to keep white tail deer out of large gardens. Not 100% successful.......If deer are that hungry, the only thing that's gonna stop 'em is a rifle round (or a 12 guage slug).
  7. Great fun pointing it into a load of sleeping geese at night time (I live on a river).....freaks 'em right out!
  8. One like this?
  9. Lucky you're not planting those 'over here' as they'd be eaten inside out by Bronze Birch Borer within the first couple of years.
  10. Try hanging up old CDs (or the freebie ones you get in the mail) in the tree to be protected.....the deer don't like the sun flashing on the CDs or the noise they make in the wind. A rural Surrey client of mine back in the day had some success with that.
  11. Looking good Andy!
  12. I do remember that a .30-06 makes a real mess of them!
  13. Is there still no closed season for muntjac in the UK? Been a good long while since I 'wacked and stacked' any of the those little blighters. Do they stand up on their hind legs to reach browsing material?
  14. It's only when you get up close to them that you realize just how vast the Redwoods are. Some pics of when I was over in the PNW a few years back...
  15. On the subject of big Redwwoods, one of the largest trees felled near the Hammond Lumber Co. camp #10 in 1901....

  17. .....but the hours are good.
  18. As it should be mate!
  19. What was Pete McTree doing between your legs? And in a Tree Wise Men t-shirt at that!
  20. Seen it before, but still cracks me up.
  21. Claus Mattheck's 'The body language of trees' is a worthy consideration also, goes a little deeper into detail than Stupsi. Have a look at the TCIA Pocket Guides too.
  22. Bugger!! And it's your 'stepping out' finger too!!
  23. 'Standing on a beach with a gun in my hand, staring at the sea, staring at the sand....'
  24. Unbelievable!!
