  1. The bowtie are to help it stop splitting any further, I usually go down between 1/2 & 3/4 of the way.
  2. No problem , any others you think I should add to the list of Lego men.
  3. I've seen a video somewhere on Facebook, leads either end and 1000v going through it.
  4. Normal softwood sleepers go for around £15 and oak for £30 average size 2.4m , 200 x 100 mm. So I would say £15 each at least.

  6. I started to make a Lego man out of pine , then around midnight I decided it looked a bit plain so decided to do this.
  7. Pictures would help, with rust sand down to bare metal then prime paint and lacquer. Supplier should have paint code for match.
  8. I've got kids so it's 6 weeks off for me at the mo, give or take a few days for work in between.
  9. Nice rack, might have a go at making one, metal work is easy when you know someone 😁.
  10. Glad I could help, I'll keep an eye out for more pieces . I've recently got some purple heart and some oak from a wine cask in France, but looking for some different pen kits for that. Hope you can use them box blanks, a few splits in them.

  12. I'm a single dad so difficult, so I thought bo llocks and booked a little holiday next week .
  13. No idea how to make this thread sticky 😊, It's a balancing act I find, I've got two girls and through half term it's week one week off with their mum. One lives with me now so in fact I have her all the time as she only wants to see her mum on weekends through half term then every other weekend when at school.
  14. How do single parents or even parents juggle work and kids during half term.
