  4. I think your doing a good job there Monkeyd, its nice to see old trees being retained for habitat and not just been cut down all the time. As long as there been regularly inspected it doesn't matter, nice to see thinking outside the box.
  5. Graham, don't know if your getting my PM's so i'll post here, I've got someone who is very intrested and will pay the top end of what your asking for this weekend. Send me a PM if intrested. Ian

  7. It's worth a try the more info you can get the better by the sounds of it.
  8. Dean, BTCV might help as far as i know it depends on what animals your trying to keep back, usually its one on the top and just normal wire for the rest but i have see one at the bottom before but not less than 30cm from bottom. I think spacing should be every 30cm anyway, hope it helps
  9. Depends on what diameter how about basket making, hurdles things like that. You can put smaller bits of the brash in a tin and put it in the charcoal burner and make the drawing charcoal too.
  10. HA HA:001_smile: I said to myself not to let dog on sofa, then i was out numbered when the wife and kids saw it. I tell the dog off and all i get is arrhh look at it don't do that.
  11. Here we go, here's my new a addition to the family it's a sprocker spaniel 8 weeks old.
  12. Thanks:001_smile:
  13. Yes all of the above, are you just stopping or using other methods. I've heard the tablets are good, you smoke while talking them and on the 8th day you just stop well something like that anyway. I've given up for 8years now and have never craved one since, i used the patch i had it on for 30 seconds and said whats that smell (pure nicotine) ripped the patch off never smoked since. So i reccomend them, You also need to want to give up or it won't work(will power).
  14. I wonder how many people you would get looking if you did??
  15. Don't get me wrong i agree that he needs permission from a tree officer, just an idea of bigger version of arborbolt? Goes with movement of tree Call me stupid but what does DDD whu mean??
  16. To all the theiving scum out there:001_smile:
  17. Just a question If you can screw an arborbolt or nail a plaque to a tree, why would this not be aloud? or is it just a question of what causes more damage?
  18. When i was trained in the basic climbing course they taught you how todo a pole rescue but don't assess you on it.
  19. Sorry to here about it mate, getting closer to home time to beef my security up more me thinks.
  20. £40 on a pair of DC's or £5 from asda. My brother is a bit of a trainer whore he gets fed up of them after 3weeks, so i get them (nike or timberland boots)
  21. Your better off with a circular saw or a jig saw much safer:001_smile:
  22. Even nicer on pancakes.
  23. Looking good Dan:001_smile: IMO try the danish oil some veggi oils go rank after a while especially outside. Farmers market and shows are a good idea people like to sit and try out, Sell a flat pack version easier to get in car( going by other peoples mistakes). What set up have you got (saw) with the mill, I'm looking for something a bit smaller than the logasol big mill. Ian
