  1. Nice, it would be intresting to know what it turns like. What size is the one on the table??
  2. Auto tune, hhhmmmm intresting. Hope there not going to turn out like modern cars the only way to fix them is to take them to a garage.
  3. Yes that will be the one, its about A3 size
  4. No probs, Let us know when package arrives.
  5. The cheap ones don't burn hot enough and don't keep a constant temp.
  6. Cool, Bargin:001_smile:
  7. Find another job mate, he's laughing all the way to the bank:mad1:
  8. My other half has put it on facebook too and emailed all her friends too>
  9. Blue steel is the name of the look on zoolander, Ben Stiller. http://www.thepursuitaesthetic.com/2008/12/03/%E2%80%98zoolander%E2%80%99-sequel-in-the-works/
  10. I brought the impacto ones from severnside saftey and the work well on the hedge trimmers ( got an old stihl hs85) there protected on palms and inbetween thumb and finger.
  11. A man with many talents i see, Spot on Dean:001_smile:
  12. I have the 1" pin jaws which i have a 1" forsner bit to drill down an " the jaws fit into the hole open them out to grip the wood (outside of bowl and spiggot turned). Then 35mm jaws to hold spiggot and balance rest of bowl and finish. The bowl reversing jaws are to finish bottom of bowl(taking spiggot off). The backplates can do the job of the pin jaws but i find them useful for smaller stuff too. The bowl reversing jaws can take bowls up to 9"max 2"min. I have a list of all the jaws you can get with internal and external dimensions if you want i'll post.
  13. Agree its easier but the cost to turn it in to a varible speed seems a bit much for the amount of kit still left to get.
  14. I feel for you mate:sad: I would Get advice as said in other posts, try finding another part time job and working for him for a while and look for something better so you still have money coming in, Or just jump in the deep end and take a job abroard and enjoy life. Your classed as part time i would say now they have just the same right as someone working full time you r entitled to holidays and all of the above post, I've had nothing but bad luck with employers (BUt thats another story) thats why im going self employed (and to spend lots of time with my kids which im loving)
  15. You would have to get your own insurance as well so the price your thinking of is not that bad IMO (assuming that you would be working for other people too). Cost of fixing saws chains etc etc it all mounts up.
  16. It does seem a bit of a strange way of working don't know how you can survive not knowing when your working next or not. Couldn't you just say your avaliable a few days a week and get another part time job. My brother was in a simular situation thought he was employed changed job and next minute the tax man was saying you owe x ammount and previous employer is saying that you were self employed..
  17. Find another job, I think it's 1.75 days a month your intitled to for holidays are you full time or part time on the books??
  18. Just thinking might be an intresting grain if turned??
  19. Have post on this thread yet but here goes, All i have got to say is i wish i had the opportunity that Joe's got when i was that age. Collage, work, experience, and what looks like a decent boss that looks after the lad:cool1: and to finish it all off abit of cash in my pocket at the end of the week. Joe if you carry on with the attitude you have you will go far mate:001_smile:
