  1. i used one of these to transport heavy standards around a wet site on a planting job i did a few years ago.... great bit of kit, couldnt have managed without it.

  3. good plan, we can eat the species to extinction. having spent many days spraying/cutting it, i would be glad to see it gone.

  7. i looked at the pantin, but i like the idea of the extra cam on the cmi which prevents it just being kicked off. it is probably a feature that i'd get fed up with after a while, but for starters it seemed to suit me.

  13. always square, as someone mentioned, with round holes there is a chance that the roots wont break out of the pit, but just keep spiralling round the hole.
  14. tow capacity of defenders is 3500kg, apart from the new ones which can tow 3900kg i believe...
  15. with the 19J engine, i ouldnt pay more than 2.5k for it.... youll need to budget another 1000 to put a tdi in it...

  17. i use a 1:1:1 ratio with pounds for fruit n sugar and bottle for the spirits. however i am not a fan of gin so i tent to use cheap whisky (any blended really), but try the same mix with gooseberries and vodka..... now that is nice, or damsons and brandy......

  24. Biggest bit is roughly 12" dia by 4' long. I guess. I can't measure at the mo cos it's burried under chip in the back of the truck at the mo. I'm hiding it from my boss lol.
