i used one of these to transport heavy standards around a wet site on a planting job i did a few years ago.... great bit of kit, couldnt have managed without it.

i looked at the pantin, but i like the idea of the extra cam on the cmi which prevents it just being kicked off. it is probably a feature that i'd get fed up with after a while, but for starters it seemed to suit me.

always square, as someone mentioned, with round holes there is a chance that the roots wont break out of the pit, but just keep spiralling round the hole.

with the 19J engine, i ouldnt pay more than 2.5k for it.... youll need to budget another 1000 to put a tdi in it...

i use a 1:1:1 ratio with pounds for fruit n sugar and bottle for the spirits. however i am not a fan of gin so i tent to use cheap whisky (any blended really), but try the same mix with gooseberries and vodka..... now that is nice, or damsons and brandy...... -

Biggest bit is roughly 12" dia by 4' long. I guess. I can't measure at the mo cos it's burried under chip in the back of the truck at the mo. I'm hiding it from my boss lol.
