  1. Oh in that case i might do then, does this mean we get to see you and Matt head to head. I will be bringing the cam corder!
  2. Oh just some guy who entered a novice comp after 5 years of climbing and won(fair and square) hundreds of pounds worth of climbing kit. LOl
  3. LOL:hahaha: He won more than me and i was highest scoring female, i got krab and a magazine LOL
  4. Go for it Jay i competed two years ago after only three months of climbing!!!! Everyone was so supportive and even though at the time i was a nervous wreck its so worth it! No ones judging you you do it for yourself! I knew i wouldn't get anywhere theres to many great climbers but i still felt proud of myself after doing that speed climb i tell you, just do it.
  5. remember your work climb at Cardiff Steve! It was great even the judges were impressed, your gonna make it to top if you compete each year! Just remember who ya friends are won't you!
  6. I really want to enter this year as it's good experience and i know if i don't this year i never will again but i get so nervous it almost makes me feel nervous just thinking about it, I enjoyed it last time after I'd finished, but i am a little unfit to say the least. I barely get chance to climb at work these days and am yet to train at all! So i should imagine I'll be watching again this year. Does this comp clash with Capel Manor?
  7. GREAT pics! I love crane jobs so exciting. You were taking some big pieces off towards the end.

Exactly, from day one we started training Timber and some people thought it was a bit much but it's so worth it. We got Timber to sit wait while we walked out of the room, and fetch, sit etc after only three weeks! He's good as gold now, we even let him out while we doing pruning jobs etc, he just stays in cab for take downs.
  12. where did you get it from sorry?
  13. I wouldn't comment either darling! x x
  14. I wouldn't want to be your wife I'd have killed you years ago! I bet you've never picked hoover up in your life! Try working full time mate and running a house, with two kids from fri to Monday and a dog and you'll see why we moan when you walk in and trash the place in two seconds.
  15. Thats a good one to remember, Matt doesn't have to worry bout that one as I'm worse than he is but then i do do all of the house work so i have the right to mess it up! LOL
  16. What difference does it make, you've still got to shift the waste?
  17. Not really, although it was great for jobs like this, if we hadn't got rid of it we wouldn't have mog so we'd have had to run the trailer out there left it at job then gone bc got chipper on tractor, then gone back I'd have taken kit in back of landy, and do all the same again at the evening. It was all a bit much for a two hundred pound hedge cutting job LOL
  18. Too right let down at 530 am. We wanted to get this take down done in day, Matt was meant to be running waste off site all day (hour round trip) me ground and the climber would bloody climb! now we had to struggle we got to go back tomor for butt that is lying on ground waiting to be cut up, we've had to move tomor job, might even lose the job!
  19. Good job!! Not all climbers can do a good reduction without taking too much out or lions tailing them. Nice one!

    all good fun

Sorry, i don't understand what you were doing Bob? You took branches off so you could fell it??
  21. I think it's a fab idea, good luck to you!
  22. Thats true but you'd listen to a plumber if he told you your dish washer could be fixed but wasn't broken so why don't people listen to us and take our advice
  23. And when they say they want this tree down because it makes a mess in the gutters, or there is no light, drops sap on my car, its too near to the house. Don't you find you can tell what they're like and whether you will get the job just from hearing them talk on the phone.
