  1. I love pictures in black and white.
  2. I would like someone who can give me advice on equipment who has personally tried it and is not just trying to sell me it. After two years i have sill not found a harness that suits me This year i would like to get a new harness as i am unhappy with the one i have. What am i meant to do buy every single harness to find out. I find trying them on for a few moments at a show just isn't enough!
  3. LOL, Yes i remember the walk you took with me around the work climb tree at Cardiff and the flirty chat!
  4. I think there would be no other way than to break wire but i think they would expect you to let them know first so they could fix it straight after.
  5. I know you can tell by his knees he's really got stuck in. Is it just me or has he been tied to the tractor???
  6. Surely that wouldn't work anyway as they would just say you should have notified them first?
  7. When i say random i mean not tree related, sorry unclear about that.Yeah I've been married twice.
  8. Talking about LOLER inspections, need someone local to do our kit. Our yards in Worplesdon.
  9. I thought this forum was missing something, there was one on tree house and i thought it was quite good. Post three pic's totally random......
  10. I notice the camera angle is different how much did you take out of it bout 30% ? Got a lovely shape to it now, bet the customer was pleased!
  11. NICE! It's good to see a nice reduction instead of a pollard. The only London plane tree's I've ever seen are either left to do what they do or maintained as pollards.
  12. Exactly! Once up a tree it's up to you to keep on top of rope maintenance, keep the line straight ready to descend. Most importantly the ground staff to keep the ground under the tree clear and rope free for dropped branches. That poor man must have been injured so badly, no one not even himself could have done anything to change the situation. Oh also always make sure the ground staff have a mobile and know the site address!
  13. I can't begin to imagine how his family and friends must feel! It's such a terrible thing something we all dread, but even though all advice given is excellent i think we all know that if a climber has an accident like that and he/she can't get down from the tree them self within seconds their dead! Even with a line up a tree already installed, the time ground staff have got a harness on and got up the tree the climber would be dead with those injuries.
  14. I've entered for first time. It's been such a long time since i've been on arbjobs, it's really come along!
  15. I've just realized it's my mom's birthday same week end and already made arrangements for my parents to come other, so we won't be coming to either now!

  19. How low did you have to take the stump ED bet that was a chor
  20. Sorry you my have already said but why do they want them down, could they not just have some down if it's case of light, leaves making mess, you know usual crap reasons that people give for wanting them down?
