LOL glad i weren't climbing today. Does not mean i can blame the wind for blowing the side of the mog open and us losing half a load of timber and chip all over road today?

    Beech removal

Hey nice pics Andy i love grounding for big take downs where everything needs lowering, spec where the timber is staying on site. I bet that took some time to log up. Love to see action photo's anyone got anymore?
  5. Everyone has a wuss moment once in their climbing career, you can't say you've NEVER once done that Steve!
  6. Everyone has had a day like that Matt! If it didn't feel right and you got yourself wound up about it it was best to stop as thats when accidents do happen. Iknow how you feel though i did that once when i worked for James and obviously the job had to be done so one of the experienced climbers went up and fininshed it and i beat myself up about it for weeks.

    Morals.

I understand you Andy but no one in the right mind would have done this job, not only was it road side in a very busy area but the guy clearly had no right to butcher someone else's tree's and i could tell the min he slurred his first words and smelt the alchol on his breath that he would not pay the money that job would have been worth.
  8. I don't don't blame you you, what an idiot. If the acually pays you is another matter though!!
  9. Bloody hell fire did it actually land on their house or just in their garden??

  11. Mine was when i was descending from a tree and my ponytail got stuck the the prussik but as i was comin down at some speed i didn't notice til it was over half way through!! i could not move to get it out and there was no way i was going to ask any of the lads for help as i new they would all stand at the bottom of the tree laughing at me, so i pulled it out. Saved going to the hair dressers to have it cut that month. Needless i nearly always have a bun inside my hat now.
