  4. They look really impressive! That is what a pollard SHOULD look like!
  5. Oh Matt took me to the lake district and north wales last year and it was amazing we had a brill time and can't wait to go back soon as the weather has improved!
  6. Well I'd like to take this opportunity to say there is no support for fathers out there who actually want to spend time with their children but have separated from the mother. If the mother wants to stop access or make access difficult there is no support for fathers whatsoever.
  7. I have a welsh cob, I've had him for just over 11years now, and i took on a mini Shetland from blue cross rescue when i moved to Hampshire, for company for my horse. Have you seen the pic of them on the random pic thread?
  8. Does his mother not see or have him at all?
  9. Oh my GOD. Ed i could kill you! i must have missed this page some how. You said you wouldn't show those pic's last time! Some drunken bird
  10. Only two don't have much time to ride usually only at week ends but when the light nights come I'll be glad! I'm sick of doing the jobs in the dark and not getting to enjoy actually having them! O also like to ad it's not that bad we have Matts children from a Fri night to a Monday morning and they are little angels!
  11. Single parent! how do you work in this industry and look after your kids on your own???
  12. Look after my horses, kids, clean house and occasionally go out on the piss! lol So not much

  14. There lovely pics Glen!
  15. The poplar job, where i got attacked by squirrels and someone (not mentioning any names) felled a 35 ft pop top onto my head while i was in the tree next to him!
  16. I really would recommend it! We got there at opening time at nine, i would get there early as we had place to self nearly for bout half hour, it was packed out by twelve.Kids were easily self entertaining for 2-3 hours. They did easter egg hunt, face painting, go cart racing, kids climbing wall. Even got internet cafe so you don't have to miss anything on Arbtalk:awink: But we didn't have time for that we were in there with them, never too old ya know!
  17. Whenever i tell a man I'm a tree surgeon it tends to have the opposite effect, they run a mile LOL. Can't think why.
  18. Snow didn't settle here so we took them to kids space in Croydon check it out it was great we spent 3-4 hours there easily. http://www.kidspaceadventures.com

  20. You were just lucky!
  21. I love the pics that tree is amazing!
  22. LOl Thats more like it
  23. Thats a big limb that come off there Andy, what happened with the tree did you just tidy it, will you have to take it down?
  24. I like your set up Skyhuck, Matt will be so jealous. Bet it makes jobs like that so much easier other companies don't stand chance when you can get it done that quickly!
  25. No i just can't get on with it. I like the fact it gives great back support, on take downs it's great but it's too bulky the rest of the time, and the leg straps are a nightmare they slide round so the thin bit is underneath which hurts. Also i can't adjust the strap for the sliding D's so when hanging in the harness it tips you backwards, if you know what i mean? Oh and the side D's are rigid which get caught on everything. My first harness which needed replacing anyway had no sliding D and offered no back support.
