  2. Thats fine you welcome to your opinion, i have mine!
  3. Yes you read correctly, If it had flown into normal wire it would have had a shock but that would have been it, instead it's been hung. I don't think you realize what little wildlife we have left in this country.
  4. Yes thats correct, if it was normal wire the owl would not have been snared.
  5. The owl wouldn't have been able to see the wire!
  6. Such a terrible shame, i hate the stuff! Some people use it for horse fencing BIG no no!

    Whats yours?

I was just looking at some stunning pictures of Japanese Maples, which i think are truly beautiful and are my favorite tree. Whats yours? Post a pic.....
  8. scary We will only ever know what we're told. I think we're monitored and watched more than we're even aware of already. Makes me feel like a prisoner, I'd rather not think about. Ignorance is bless if you ask me! It'll happen anyway.
  9. Happy birthday Lee! Have you done anything nice today?

Just out of interest is there anyone in my area (Farnborough) with any jobs going?
  11. Yes well, i have nothing to say on this subject other than if we need a new engine i will prob have to move bc up north. Everything seems to be against us at min. I had some terrible news about my horse today too. May have to get another job just to pay for everything at this rate
  12. I will be honest i don't have time to read old posts i only read about half of the new one's. Who you going on about? Why has Lee put his info up, you going on about him or is he just paranoid LOL.
  13. :cheers:Wow, i've only just read this thread!!! Yeah i never win anything. Thanks Ed
  14. My horses this morning. Going to take the kids to the field later to make a snow man, there's four acres worth of snow for them to play in.
  15. I hate conifers, hate working on them, hate the look of them. Only time they look OK is when they've been well maintained as a hedge and trimmed at least once maybe twice a year. You took alot out of those first conifers, never good to take more than 40% 50% out at once. Also the pics where the hedge is having sides cut looks like it's going to brown off in patches, looks like it's been cut too tight or is that just the pic?
  16. Wow!! How the hell did they miss-judge the weight?
  17. I think there is a big difference here between, the people who suddenly after years decide their tree is too big and cut it in half and this case. You can tell it's been maintained like this for some time and you can tell it looks Farley healthy. For some reason i think it actually looks quite beautiful! Purely because of the size of the trunk, it looks nice in the way a pollard looks nice if that makes sense? If it was me i would rather maintain it like that then not have it at all. If the tree is healthy who are we to rip down something thats taken so long to look grow in a matter of hours just because it's not been pruned the way it really should have been.
  18. Bloody hell! Never seen a tree fall on a car before for some strange reason it surprised me. But hey how cool would it be to do that!!!
  19. I have long hair LOl. Don't have much choice in that though.
  20. Good luck mate, it takes a lot to make a decision like that. I for one can see us flogging ourselves all our lives and never living comfortably. All i want out of life is to be happy, have a nice home of our own and have enough money to live well. But at the end of the day you'll send most of your life working so it's more important to me to enjoy my work.
  21. I have one for sale, check out Trading place!
  22. If he's stating it's VAT on the invoice then it's illegal.
  23. I don't remember what happened? I didn't even realize you was there much Andy i thought you were doing the cooking and watching the film with the other groups?
