Do you really believe that? That it's down to dysfunctional management primarily and not a lack of money? I'd love to spend a day in your head. DEFINE_ME WWW.THELANCET.COM

Nowt to do with skin colour, or as the Mail might put it ' Exotic Heritage'. All to do with competency and compassion. Two traits she appears to lack. " Then there was Prit Patel’s awful attempt at the daily briefing at the weekend, where she repeatedly refused to apologise to NHS staff for lack of PPE. Patel manages to rile just about everyone by saying – ‘I’m sorry if people feel there have been failings.’ It would be an understatement to say that the mainstream media have not done their jobs properly by holding this government to account. Only this week, almost the entire corporate media has failed to report on their front pages the fact that the UK has just hit the highest daily death toll from COVID-19 in Europe. Instead, it’s a few diversionary ‘spirit of the Blitz’ stories and reporting what videos Boris Johnson is watching from his hospital bed. The British Medical Association is outraged by the government and went public last Friday: “We are hearing reports of a shocking lack of PPE supplies across trusts in England today. The Government must address dwindling PPE supplies immediately – PPE should not be being rationed due to a lack of supply. The workforce simply cannot continue facing the prospect of either being put directly in harm’s way or facing the anxiety of not knowing whether they will be adequately protected or not.” The Royal College of Surgeons of England backs this outrage up after collating the views of 1,978 surgeons and surgical trainees. “The widespread lack of PPE for frontline staff is a disgrace” "

^Shouldn't be too difficult seing as we don't have a credible government at present. Bozo - Proven liar Patel- is sorry we might think she sells things to the Israelies and can't read numbers. Raab - Doesn't know we're an island. Liz Truss - Numbers again. Cummins - Ran away. etc.

Seems Priti Patel went to the same maths class as Diane Abbot. Priti Patel: 'there have been 300,034 974,000 tests carried out' METRO.CO.UK Priti Patel had trouble with getting her words and data out at the Downing St daily press briefing.

  15. Let me know when you find that nugget.
  16. At least it's going on our people and not on bombs. People don't seem to gripe about the amount of taxpayer money that goes into the war machine.
  17. Nice one. Don't use level teaspoons, load it up a bit.
  18. When I got into tree work, the place we tipped off had a few chickens. I've rarely bought supermarket eggs since.
  19. Aye it's tasty. I'll have a look at that. I like curried meats too, I'm hungry now.
  20. You could ask the client to confirm in writing that it isn't subject to a TPO. You could ask the council if there are any TPO's within a postcode.
  21. They're also, really, really busy.
  22. Daal 125g lentils 1.5 litres water 3-4 tomatoes quartered 1tsp ground cumin 1tsp ground ginger 1tsp ground coriander 1tsp salt 2 chillies chopped 4-5 cloves of garlic finely sliced or a decent spoonful of minced garlic Some olive oil Handful fresh coriander roughly chopped. Put lentils, tomatoes, dried spices, one of the chillies and water in a pan. Bring to boil and then reduce to simmer. Remember to stir the pan. After an hour and a bit or so, or whenever the lentils are close to cooked, add the other chopped chilli and the chopped up fresh coriander. Then get another pan and put some olive oil in it. Whack the garlic in until it’s starting to soften and then pour the garlic/oil into the daal. Give it a good stir, whack a little extra fresh coriander on top and away you go. Good with rice or breads. You can squeeze some lemon on if you're feeling radical.
