  9. the problem is they lack weight over the rear axle, my b2500 will go where i want it to, i belive this is down to tyre choice and thinking about where im driving and dont think difflockers will make an exceptional difference. ps my sj will go everywhere and more a modded landy will

  13. id been thinking about replacing the ascender with another croll as well, as i find that the length of the ascender somtimes makes the system quite messy, like the idea of your second set up
  14. i tend to just stick in a 5th of a firelighter(cheating i know) and some kindling from the wood box chopped up smallish, dont be stingy with what your burning though, get it in there and get a good burn going

  18. no i havnt, i have a rope guide which i tend to choke round the stem, or choke mt drt system round the stem and set up a fig8 to desend on if its bigger than the rope guide i climb in a treemotion and unless something else comes out il be replacing it with another at this years aa show pictures of the cabin, il try and get some over the weekend
  19. yhe cinch actually works best with dynamic rope imo, ive been using beal wallmaster, though i must admit ive just gone back to my art positioner with 10m of tachyon in a bag

  22. dave, the ivy was left on but has been cut at the base since the photo was taken hama, yes its tennis elbow and i suffer in both, think its a combination of skateboarding for over ten years in my teens and e\rly 20s and the fact i weigh nearly 15 stone that agrivates it
  23. easy little slickamore reduction(dam it was slippy and slimey) amoungst some other bits for me today on the river hamble for jim at special branch tree services. 65 mile round trip and very very wet gear, 3 pairs of gloves used and at one point i had 5 layers on, my brother was grounding and took a nasty slip and tumble down the muddy bank. the kelly kettle got another outing and raised spirits at tea break:thumbup1: on a positive note ive found a brace for my elbows that i can wear when im climbing thats really helped
