  1. cant remember really, think they were ok, i certainly took a quick trip to brown town
  2. we were clearing the ride for access for the forwarder, the big top was off a tree further up the ride that had always been clear
  3. me and rich were stood next to the trees 7 photos down, rich was inbetween both and i was just to the left

Romsey hit by mini tornado (From This is Hampshire) this mini tornado came as quite a surprise to us when we were out with 18 students today on a felling site at Ampfield, Romsey just up the road from the Hillier gardens, luckily nobody was hurt. and i can tell you that some trees came very close with 2 coming down either side of rich, and the one that i was wedging over failed at the plate. i think i just closed my eyes, it was all over in no more than 2 seconds -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- me and rich were stood next to the trees 7 photos down, rich was inbetween both and i was just to the left

  6. basically ive been emailing pictures from my blackberry to myself so i can retrieve them on my computer, surely there is an easier way to download the pics from blackberry to computer, can anyone help

  8. i reduced one recently and the colouring was in the wood, so dont think its caused by the fungi

  11. good advice buddy, dont really need the work, booking days in for the second week of jan now so im not really that bothered, reckon il pass the crappy bit on
  12. yeah i would have to price them in the more i think about it i doubt there would be much change from 3.5k
  13. that was my first thought, to get someone else to do the digging and earth moving bit
  14. just got a pair and liking them, my last meindls (not airstreams) i had for 2 years
  15. been to look at a job this afternoon which involves removing 31m or there abouts of conifer hedge (6fthigh 3-4ft wide with stems about 6in) removing stumps and digging out the bank they are planted on(3-4ft wide and 2ft high) and removing all the soil which would have to be dug out with a mini digger and barrowed out to a large skip as well as cutting back a 16m laurel hedge by about a ft and putting up 4 concrete posts and panels. never really priced much of this type of work before and to be honest i dont really need the work, but i thought id stick a price in anyway. im reckoning theres 5 days work all in. do you guys who do landcsaping type stuff charge the same as you do for treework. im reckoning there wont be much change from 3k,what do you reckon:confused1:

  18. the guy has 9 acres of garden and woodland, says his seen it from end to end
  19. as above:confused1:, customer asked me today. small twigs breaking off 3 or 4 years worth of extension growth back didnt really have an answer
