  10. its actually a nd(national diploma) not hnd(higher national diploma). youd be better off getting your own gear
  11. did you send me a cv
  12. as far as im aware the hnd has been replaced with the fdsc at sparsholt, in which case the course is 95% theory, and unless your going out to work you wont need any personal ppe except steel toecap boots for site visits etc
  13. nice, thats a good idea leaving the tail long so you can pull it down to you to untie:thumbup1:

  18. do many manufacturers actually produce ropes with spliced eyes at each end?
  19. not sure i get your point, if there is milking at the opposite end of your line to the splice, why would this affect the splice
  20. im guessing you are doing this as an experiment to see the effects of splicing both ends of a climbing line
  21. im not suggesting leaving the latin out,far from it. just think it would provide more of a resource if both the latin and common names were there
  22. hama could you put some of the common names alongside you pictures please, i really think it would provide a resource for some
  23. i thought that as well
  24. i have the small silverbull bag with 10m of tachyon in it, its great, used to daisy chain it, but this setup is so much better, stopped using my cinch in favour of my 4 yr old positioner
