  2. Thanks David, it's turning out to be a productive setup The access was to a school and recreation centre
  3. Deadwoods and a oak fell for an easy Friday, done for lunchtime
  4. dorset crane hire are spot on, Ive used them for a couple of years after some pretty dismal service from king lifting
  5. Removed a tree from a house this morning
  6. I usually just pull them off and give them to the contract manager
  7. Still sorting out storm damage from the weekend
  8. Oak fell this morning, back later in the week to tidy up. The butt is about 4ft diameter Then some roadside stuff this afternoon

  12. I clip a small DMM xsre biner through the eye on the end of my tether and clip into that

  14. Tidying up a site today
  15. Tidying up a failed Monterey pine Back tomorrow to have a scratch about, burn the stuff we can't chip and stack the last of the timber. Going to use an RSJ in the grab on the digger as a rake
  16. Grab arrived this afternoon, getting it welded onto the boom on the way to a job then it's on big chipper feeding duty for a couple of days
  17. Every team member should have a Tourniquet and Israel bandage in their pocket imo with a more comprehensive kit in the truck for when you need more of the above

  19. Some deadwooding today, climbed the nicest oak in a long time Then looked at a cheeky ash removal on my way home
  20. Just had it on the bench Drilled the hole in the casing out a bit wider, screwed a small screw into where the cable came out with a rubber washer under it wrapped end of cable round screw, covered it in silicone Seems to work Nothing like a good bodge
  21. Not sure yet, going to have a look at it properly when it's off the machine, the only problem I can see is that it won't be insulated if it touches the machine, blob of silicone might sort that out though
  22. Wire that goes into the side of the clutch in the stump grinder, unfortunately it's a sealed unit Crap design New clutch is £600.00 Going to get in on the bench this afternoon and see if it can be bodged
  23. A spot of woodland rough shooting with the beretta a303 semi auto this weekend
