  1. My Lpg V8 hicap sounded fantastic - mind you, I had a 3" twin straight through systems on a 4.2 motor...
  2. Thanks Charlie! I'll return the favour [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_mBh2deMcKU[/ame]
  3. The only business I've done for him was a huge pile of contract chipping - I just assumed from his type of work that he knew what he was doing.
  4. How about ***** ******* in Pilling, Lancashire? He is very experienced at that sort of thing. I got a nice big job to look at next week, 280 3' dia Western Red cedar to harvest and extract.
  5. I'd be happy to, but its a long haul up to Cumbria.
  6. I dont think it causes accidents. Poor planning maybe, but if you ever see a commercial softwood cutter going down a stem, it would put any arborist to shame, those guys move about 4 times faster without having accidents. loss of concentration and occasional / inexperienced users is the largest cause of chainsaw accidents.
  7. Harvesting hardwoods?
  8. In light of current Fuel prices, I'm getting rid of my Patrol and getting one of these. Awsome dude! [ame] [/ame]
  9. Dave is tha Man! took some balls and a lot of skill to pull that one off.
  10. Bleagh. Piece of poo. No thank you.
  11. Mr Ed

    Ooops!

Paul - Hahahahah! Even I've done the same thing ... Dead wood is very inflexible... [ame]http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=5PT1wddbSiI[/ame]
  12. We'll take your word for it your Honour
  13. Thor's Hammer perhaps?
  14. Definately Hades. I was on the phone to Wotan up in Vallhala the other day, he says it was nothing to do with him. He told me that Persephone had Hephaistos build it, but he did a bad job as he was still sulking over that business with Aphrodite, so ballsed it up. Pluto said the damn thing fell apart the first time he used it, so he sold it to medusa to trim her hair. You can imagine how that turned out, so it was decided to curse the race of men with it.
  15. SHamen eh? heres one from the same era... [ame] [/ame]
  16. The era of cheap energy is over... Wheres my end is nigh sandwich board...
  17. Whats wrong with a bit of kinkyness anyway? I too like XTC, and find my blakes treats it very nicely...
  18. Great name - welcome to arbtalk!
  19. 'Humans is the cwaziest people' - Bugs Bunny.
  20. I feel for you mate. What she really wanted was the tree topping. 50% reduction of crown area minimum... Public eh?
  21. Hitachi are cool (I own a zero tailswing 135) but I'd rather a Komatsu... Short tracks are more manouverable aswell.
  22. Those tilt hitches are damn expensive. You dont like Komatsu?
  23. I know 2 large firewood dealers round here, 2 brothers who run seperate busineses. 1 sells nothing but sopping wet green wood, the other nothing but bone dry seasoned wood. Both seem to do equally well. My point being, the general public does'nt seem to care. If timber is split into billets and stacked the french way, it drys very quickly - one summer will get it down to 20%
  24. Or on strike...
  25. whats the deal with it?
