  1. So what exactly was '****' about the carlton Oliver? I reckon I could find far more happy Carlton customers than Predator customers....
  2. Current record is below 10 seconds, but thats on toe spikes. Totally different style, you can run up the pole. Not sure what the record is on conventional spikes.
  3. Nice chipper Justin! you took the plunge then?
  4. Of course I have. Ive owned 3 Bandit chippers, 2 250XP's and a 280HD. But I'm loath to give my opinion of it, as I sell a competative brand of chipper. Thats where it gets difficult. I could be giving you my opinion of a machine I've used, but a as dealer, other dealers think this is unfair.
  5. I'll ask tomorrow. Do you want it on a lease deal? its a finance company snatchback.
  6. Was meant in the best possible taste pete
  7. Rangers / mazdas are a good no frills truck. I know where there is an excellent low milage one going within your price range. |Want me to enquire?
  8. My personal best was 18 seconds on conventional spikes.
  9. 35p:icon14:
  10. Pete, were you at the scottish show last year when one of our Irish friends beat (unverified) the world record on his 2nd attempt?

    I know. I'm a class traitor...

Patrol + Amazon = still the best. All others are pretenders.
  13. Mike, glad you showed that one, seems a much more sensible option than the adjustable track version.
  14. Yep, this is exactly what my ex business partner is doing.
  15. I think I'll have born to top on mine
  16. I might have a vertex done out like this
  17. Maybe, but mobility in bad conditions is more of a priority than load carring for the military. You only have to look at their capacity's - 32 tonne 8 wheelers carry a maximum of 10 tonnes, as opposed to a civvy 8 wheeler carrying 20 tonnes...
  18. In that case, heres my unbiased advice - 24" capacity conehead, with 450hp scania V8 option, 8 tonne CAT undercarriage with triple grousers. Unbeatable.
  19. We got a similar deal. We stayed in the little cottages they have. Security would know better than to try and refuse me entry....
  20. I've stayed there about 8 years ago. Cost me a lot less than that
  21. I'm another fan of big connifer. Lawson Cypress, Dawn Redwood, golden Leylandii, Western red cedar, they all look good if allowed to grow naturally.
  22. I took loads of them down in brisbane. I only knew them as Silky Oaks. No reaction here.
