  1. toe spikes are in adifferent league to conventional climbing irons. Toe spikes enable you to run up the pole. You cant stand still on them though.

  6. Ha! thats arguable. You could say that the current regime has slowly destroyed all that she achieved. Reckon it'll take another ten years to tidy up their mess.

    New Film

I think the film is made up. I've seen a billboard hoarding for it, and I think it says three and out. Glad your happy with your username. My apologies for casting aspertions on your motives.
  14. I heard about that. Biggest load I ever saw was in france during the windblow clearing -black pine pulp heading to a mill, 81 tonnes over the bridge. Hilarious

    New Film

Nobody's criticising your choice of avatar. and my opinion on your username is just that - my opinion. if you want to keep her name alive, how about a signature - Maureen Cathryn Harriet "Cats" Falck (11 July 1953 – date of death uncertain) - Killed in the name of truth. Taking her name on an arb forum is in my opinion a little bit weird.

    New Film

Its in fairly bad taste IMO. Cats Falck was a swedish journalist murdered by the east german stasi whilst investigating there illegal arms sales.
  18. I've made the same move as Skyhuck, cut down to me and one ther man, and bring in extra help when needed. I can see a lot of company's doing this over the next few years. I used to have 12 guys working for me, even the memory of it makes me shudder...

Dave, cant find any info on those Ruffle boilers, what sort of cost? I have looked long and hard at various boiler options, IMO it has to work on woodchips, as pellets are so expensive. It has to be a machine that has a ram feed though, or you need a 3 phase supply to work the augers. Only one machine that I know of will do that, thats the Passat C series. Looking at about £7k for the right boiler.
  24. Plenty of humour here Logger, but you have to stick around to get the subtler jokes Dunno about face fuzz, my father grew a beard when working for the Northern Ireland forestry service because the only englishmen who shaved up there were squaddies - and it was not a good time to be mistaken for an off duty squaddie. I would like to cultivate a proper mephistophelian goatie beard, but just look scruffy. Tend to shave once a week, usually friday nights.
  25. Alan at beaver palnt is a top bloke. The Jensen website is bloody hard to find - guess they dont want to many brits looking at it... http://www.holzhackmaschinen.com/
