  3. What jamie said.
  4. Bluechip is a good simple machine, its a copy of the old dosko, Parts are easy to get hold of etc etc. Also has a 9" square opening, so got for feeding brushy stuff into. Nod at treeworker still has one and swears by it.
  5. http://www.workingin-newzealand.com/info/563
  6. Like Aus, we owned it. And its one of the most beautifull places on earth. You've seen lord of the rings right?
  7. I'm tempted to move there on a daily basis. The NZ jobs website states that an Arborist will earn Between $25 - 60k per year.
  8. Yes...
  9. Cant beat that western red cedar. Gods own timber.
  10. My scar is barely visible now, it was 18 years ago. the tip of the saw bounced into the back of my calf, taking two small but very deep bites. worse thing about chainsaw wounds, their virtually impossible to stitch due the shredding action of the saw, you loose the flesh.
  11. what is this wacky backy you speak of? Dean, my aplogies, there was meant to be a smiley in my post. It comes across a little bit harsh without.

    Good cup of tea?

With a drop of citrus fruit like lime or lemon its fantastic on a hot day. And people who squash teabags in a cup to make tea should be put against the wall and shot.
  13. And the producer behind Madonna's greatest record - [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hc_lfUjxHcs&feature=related[/ame]
  14. El ninjo. One of the most beautifull tracks ever - [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u_YTTuGsvYg[/ame]
  15. From the same pieces in a modern style album as the adagio for strings - [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_-fAbJJuxRw[/ame]
  16. Dean - load of old rubbish. We dont slag off your music, kindly refrain from dispensing your boring platitudes on what we enjoy. Carl - Orbits adagio for strings (ferry Corsten remix) is a nadir of trance music. LOVE Orbit. Strange cargo - Hinterland is one of my favourite albums of all time. Heres a classic - any body got any E's? [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LEBLy9OM8_M[/ame]
  17. I think a lot more truckers are going back to them to avoid traffic jams and VOSA roadside pull-ins. I might get one of those for the truck.
  18. Not really. In my opinion the only thing that will suffice is a close fitting tube with no more than 5mm gap all round. this stops any dead chunks stalling the motors. Bigger torquier motors will help, as will higher pressures on the pump.
  19. Nothing to do with that. Its because the tolerances in the roller box are so great.
  20. No, but I was obsessed with this -
  21. I used to play on my Dads when I was a kid, not sure if it was AM or FM. I was 'Red Leader'

    Good cup of tea?

One thing I cant stand is tea made in the cup. I insist on a proper teapot.
  23. Little s*** wanted a good slap, his parents need a few home truths on bringing their offspring up properly, and the damn producer needs an almighty kick up the arse for making such a load of mindless drivel. I mean come on. How hard would it have been to show some footage of harvesters and forwarders, explain sutainable forestry and carbon nuetral building, or arborists doing some climbing and explaining about tree care. Instead they have to put up the opinions of a mental dustbin.
  24. I started out working for my father, but I needed too many slaps, so we parted company. I had to set up my own company, just to say I did it on my own. We get on great, but if we work together it turns into WW3...
