    Price This

Instead of all the bickering argueing and fighting over prices, stop and look around you no matter what the size of your company. There aren't very many millionare tree surgeons out there. I know a fair few medium size companies where the boss has gone back on the tools because work has dropped off. Domestic tree surgery will never earn you big money it's allways an uphill struggle. You'll certainly earn a good living but what happens when you hit 50 ? I do feel alot of us work extremely hard for an unattainable goal.

  8. Frankly mate i don't think the vast majority here give a flying toss ! The thread was probably taken down as it goes directly against the ethos of this forum most aren't interested in political nonsense there is enough of that on the TV
  9. How big are the trees ? What size machine where you looking at hiring in ? Access etc etc. How fine do you want it mulched ? They's get an acre done with a big machine in about 3/4 day with 2 passes. You should be looking around 700-1k + haulage.
  10. I have thousands and thousands of split logs you can have for next to nothing
  11. Some of the oldest trees in the country are pollards and trees that have previousley been butchered. I'm not a big fan of reductions but i take pride in the fact i can do a damn good one and done correctly and not in a lazy manner it won't grow back super fast. I make clients aware of how their trees will react to various forms of pruning the the choice is theirs and an informed one at that !

  21. I have a top secret form of advertising that can be seen from my website lol I agree print is dead. Yell.com can be very good i'd pay the 3-400 it costs to get a linked ad on there but of course you need a website and a good one for that to work well.
  22. I've used a Conehead on several of my jobs and i would say it was very fuel effcient more so than many of the competitiors i have worked with.
