  3. The client pays and you pay thm back i'm afraid. Or they post you the invoice from BT and you pay direct.
  4. The Authentic Arb Angels was a marketing tool we were intending to employ more female professionals but so far it has fallen somewhat flat on it's face. Most of the garden type decisions are made by the lady of the house and they feel more relaxed around women and dealing with a women rather than a hairy arsed un-shaven tree man lol Authentic Arboriculture is the actual business name. Anyway back on track sorry Bill !
  5. Yes that was my understanding + if your are ruinning on red your asking for trouble !
  6. Cool just as well really as i've driven backwards and forwards to Lancashire more than once
  7. I was Kestrel Land Based Services when we did mainly countryside management, forestry and clearance work. Now it's just Authentic Arboriculture.
  8. Hence the reason i never choose Harmsworth tree care lol
  9. IMO the most important thing is you like then name and don't feel embarrased saying it when answering the phone ! The public don't give two hoots what your called at all. You'll build your business on reputation and the wording of your advertisment. Clever names like Tree Wise Men will make people smile but that's about it.
  10. Yes I take mine on the motorway, never sure on the legalities of that though because a tractor should not do more than 28 mph !
  11. Looks like a nice tidy site Ed.
  12. Everything in Arb is a compromise, it depends on where you work, where your yard is, your client base, road network, cash flow ! I've run vans, mogs, tractors and most in between. I find days in the mog wishing i had the tractor or land rover and vice versa. As Ed said it's horses for courses. Nice pics Skyhuck !
  13. Microsoft have a download on their website, once loaded on your pc your just right click the pic nice and simple. Search on their website for image re-sizer tool .

Get yourself a camelbak and drink little and often, dehydration is the biggest causer of fatigue in climbers.
  17. Cheers Steve i couldn't be arsed typing a decent reply on your behalf so i just lied
  18. There is skill in felling valuable hard wood butts without damaging them, as others have said you need a decent load to make it worthwhile to a timber merchant. A single butt only has value to a local firewood merchant at a guess.
  19. Mr Ed senior is a living tree god legend after all
  20. Clever editing i reckon Andy ! That's what's done it for her lol. Prehaps I'll stick a CD on at work next week
