  1. Class one I think.
  2. Dunno, it's not mine, friend gave it to me to splice and try out, I'll let you know, suprisingly Dave should have told me what it was as he posted a picture of Caspers hitch cord here, http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/climbers-talk/11582-my-splicing-attempts-11.html
  3. It's Liros Runner, Thanks to Nod.
  4. Same here.
  5. I don't understand the need for special tools to rip the limiter out and make the carb a little richer.
  6. The Mrs is a teacher, she will be out when called. Funny how the working folk have to suffer for the elite, odd that the same elite don't seem to suffer the same hardships.
  7. Well thanks Frank, that's about as useful as a leg on a snake, I will email TW. Edit, apparently it's Marlow.
  8. Hmm, it's really very soft, unlike Beeline and also different construction.
  9. I have been looking for the last hour.
  10. High Scale

    Cord.

Can somebody tell me what this cord is please?
  11. You lost me on the 36 for a bit, combined weight!
  12. Sounds pretty simple.
  13. Is this the Levellers festival? I have a Man of War to build so I would chop it down.
  14. Something reminded me of this today. [ame] [/ame]
  15. What is that taped to your saw scabbard my good man?
  16. Ah, I see, a little embarrassing maybe.
  17. If you watch the working climber DVD, Gerry does a lot of finishing cuts with a Silky. So is that the problem, the chainsaw wouldn't start?
  18. What happened?
  19. What do you call a Chav in a box? Init. What do you call a Chav in a locked box? Safe.
  20. Company I used to work for surveyed the whole site about six years ago, although I should'nt imagine they would recommend doing that kind of work, but who knows?
  21. yes the saw was running on. it was hay-wire in every way. does £40 sound right for stripping/cleaning the carb ? Sounds a little steep, takes me around 10 to 15 minutes to rebuild a 200t carb, but I'm not a saw shop or anything, parts however, are pricey. Search on the forum, one of the members posted a video of a ms200t carb removal and strip down. Once you replace the spring it should run fine, if not then you work on the carb.
  22. You need to spin the clutch off by stopping the piston with a piston stop then, with a socket turn the clutch clockwise, it's best to give it a jerk to get it loose, then spin the clutch off and you will be able the reach the springs, no real need to replace the undamaged springs, oh and did you notice the saw running on with a broken spring?
  23. Have you taken the bar off to check if the drive sprocket spins without the bar on? Could be the nose sprocket siezed.
  24. Well thanks, I have only ever had one splice slagged off on this forum and that was'nt even my splice:thumbdown:
  25. Helped to do a survey there once, some big trees on that site, including the biggest Black Walnut I have seen and some incredible sculptured Yew hedges.
