  1. My thoughts are the same as yours, it will look ugly. I would say it would probably be better for the tree though
  2. only 2 reasons for removing buttresses as far as im concerned: 1. Guide bar too small to fell the tree 2. Dressing out for stacking on a timber lorry
  3. Clove oil will kill the nerve off and should be used as a very last resort only
  4. His accomplish crapped himself and drove off, I very much doubt they will have the balls for a little retribution

  6. We were told by the agent who I booked it with that they would dip our legs in the water on the way down...in actual fact he proper dunked us and dragged us along with just our heads poking out of the water for about 50ft
  7. haha...the driver gave us a bit of a jolt at that moment which is why my legs are in the air....it was one of those split second moments like when your karabiner clicks and you almost crap yourself She enjoyed it apart from that bit.

  12. I have both the husky and the stihl and theres honestly not a great deal between them. I will say though that the Stihl is considerably quieter than the Husky.
  13. Just going through my holiday pictures and was a little surprised to see what appears to be a bowline with no back up. I can't really decide 100% if it is a bowline for sure from that image but in that configuration I would guess it is. Any thoughts?

  17. Theres no click on arbtalk. As you say, theres a lot of members who have just known each other a long time now. From my observations here(and other forums), the only people who claim theres a click are generally the ones who annoy people through their postings and never truly get accepted as a fellow member.
