  1. Just came across these.. [ame] [/ame] [ame] [/ame] [ame] [/ame]
  2. Long video Benn, you could have halved it by climbing SRT
  3. <div id="fb-root"></div><script>(function(d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = "//connect.facebook.net/en_GB/sdk.js#xfbml=1&version=v2.3"; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs);}(document, 'script', 'facebook-jssdk'));</script><div class="fb-video" data-allowfullscreen="1" data-href="/skynews/videos/vb.164665060214766/1146327928715136/?type=3"><div class="fb-xfbml-parse-ignore"><blockquote cite=" "><a href=" ">Cranes Collapse</a><p>Two cranes in the Netherlands have collapsed while moving part of a bridge, injuring at least 20 people and destroying 20 houses</p>Posted by <a href="https://www.facebook.com/skynews/">Sky News</a> on Monday, 3 August 2015</blockquote></div></div>
  4. absolutely, get yourself a hitch climber, and a few meteres of 8mm cord and play with some knots. Splice eye to eyes are neat but not strictly necessary. Save some cash to start with.
  5. Had airstreams and Stein. The newer stein boots are certainly coming on in leaps and bounds IMO. Werewolfs are my personal favourites but probably not an option for you.
  6. Look on the positive side, your thread will help prevent others from making the same error.
  7. damm it, and i just bought a ct foot ascender too
  8. Chance would be a fine thing! Look forward to seeing your photos
  9. Just had to google what it was as i haven't heard of it....and found this note on treestuffs website Important Note: the fimblCLIMB was designed for use with a SLAICED termination. Normal spliced or sewn terminations will have a difficult time fitting through the thimbles on the fimblCLIMB.
  10. What are you trying to use it for?
  11. Better in my opinion. Spiderjack takes longer to get use to the sensitivity of, whereas you can jump straight onto a zigzag and it acts just like you'd expect a hitch to.
  12. Good work. Is that 2 seperate lanyards you are climbing with?
  13. thats not true, i've had loads of pm's from people telling me how much slower you are these days. It's just all being done behind your back, sorry to say
  14. Not harder particularly, its just crap, and I don't look as cool, thats the real issue
  15. Climbing time, I suppose 3 hours. Probably could have knocked off 30 minutes with Ddrt
  16. Reduction on a decent size Silver Maple today. Hate working on those trees at the best of times. It went ok though, chucked in a few redirects. Still slow.
  17. Now all they need to do is train them to use them better!
  18. i'm off work not till the end of half term, too much hassle trying to arrange childcare. I'd rather just spend the time with them.
