  1. Hi Emma, you need to add your site on this page https://arbtalk.co.uk/recycling
  2. One of my website clients specialise in flat roof repair and asbestos encapsulation. I thought they may be able to offer some advice so dropped them an email. 'As others have said I would look at getting a plastic version in the same profile, notably GRP it can then be painted a light grey to blend in. It’s a bit OTT in my opinion and accidents do happen so I feel for the guy there will also be as others have mentioned reclaimed where someone has taken them down in full sheets available on places like ebay.'
  3. A couple of sites recently launched. 2 companies from opposite ends of the country and at different stages in their development. Thomson Trees - An Edinburgh Arb Approved tree surgery business Five Valleys Arbor - Based in the Cotswolds and operating throughout Gloucestershire with a full range of tree surgery services. These are just a couple of the sites I have completed recently. I've been too busy to add them to Arbtalk Media so just displaying them here for the time being. Now taking bookings for the new year on all website design. Please get in touch with me via Arbtalk or email me [email protected]
  4. Waste of time and money!
  5. Flipping glad im not out climbing trees today. Weathers turned bitterly cold today with winds and some sleet. Might have to pop the heating on for an hour
  6. Seems this year every time I have about caught up with things and think im going to get a breather, a whole bunch of work all comes out of nowhere, and all on the same day!
  7. Not the same field obviously but im absolutely swamped at the moment
  8. Heard similar horror stories to this in the past, none quite as bad as this though Bank manager died after he was left with broken neck following session with chiropractor, inquest hears APPLE.NEWS An elderly bank manager died after he was left a paraplegic with a broken neck following a "rushed" session with a...
  9. Have you already checked in the tip site directory?
  10. Lifting of the canopy will be better for the tree and long term probably will give you more light. Photos would help though
  11. Well this proved majorly worthwhile, thanks for anyone who shared it out. This is probably responsible for 90% of the new sites that are added to the directory.
  12. Let us know what it goes for! I assume it’s an auction?
  13. Good luck
  14. Same desk is actually going for £849 now. According to the site its solid walnut. I'm not convinced the top is though Mayan Walnut twin pedestal hardwood computer desk | double pedestal desk EFURNITUREUK.COM The superb Mayan Walnut Twin Pedestal Hardwood Computer Desk. Walnut is a quality timber making it a perfect choice for this double pedestal office desk
  15. Already got a joiner starting next month, he's recreating this for me. Would be nice to get some nice oak sorted for the desk and side/roof panels but im probably just going to end up ordering something like this Dark Walnut Wilsonart Worktops - Romantic | Worktop Express WWW.WORKTOP-EXPRESS.CO.UK Our laminate dark walnut worktops are the perfect imitation of natural wood surfaces. View our collection of Wilsonart worktops and order here today!
  16. Putting my office furniture up for sale on gumtree and Facebook probably. Want to get as much as possible for it to help pay for my new office but can’t decide what to try for, and I don’t want it to sit for weeks on end not selling. I’ve been caught out before by selling stuff too cheap and it being snapped up on an instant. its a walnut veneer. I’d say it’s not as good a quality as it looks though. In superb condition all over. Paid £1000 for all 3 units if I recall. what do you reckon it’s worth second hand?
  17. They're gonna feel that if the wind changes suddenly ?
  18. I don’t mind making subsections off they are used but more often than not they aren’t. I was actually considering whittling down some of the current ones
  19. Yep, I used to have Ally sides on mine
  20. With a standard buck and no arb body(ie high sides, toolbox etc) about 1.5t payload
  21. can't go far wrong with thick welding gauntlets for something like this. Reasonably cheap and do the job. You'll still need to handle with care though
  22. I will be x
  23. I stubbed my toe this morning, hurt like hell. Think you win though
  24. I climbed Ddrt with a dynamic rock climbing rope and a shunt for a while. In some situations the bounce was even benefical. The stretch when i'd put my weight on the line would help my thrust up pretty hard when I did the body thrust. Different system though
