  7. I think I was looking at the Einhell range in Wickes today actually. Read a couple of bad reviews though on my phone while I was in the shop. I try not to take too much notice to reviews on the whole, but it does kinda put you off if you know no better. I will have another look at them.
  8. website? autocorrect I assume
  9. He uses them professionally? Id imagine an angle grinder is more demanding than a drill, so if they got that right then hopefully the rest of the range is pretty good
  10. Looking to buy a set of cordless power tools. Don't want to spend a fortune as they won't get used much. Looking at this range in b&q. 11. Not bad looking trees until they are topped, then you end up with whats in the picture.
  12. Looks like a maple to me, possibly silver maple
  13. Don’t forget that the stock that is still sitting there next year is going to lower in value. Obviously a lot of it will be too far gone to sell and in the worse case scenario you might have to skip it. I suggest you get yourself an account who is on the ball on such matters ?
  14. Clip it the other side? and yes the Sawpod is awesome. I never climbed without mine
  15. Hi Emma, you need to add your site on this page https://arbtalk.co.uk/recycling
  16. One of my website clients specialise in flat roof repair and asbestos encapsulation. I thought they may be able to offer some advice so dropped them an email. 'As others have said I would look at getting a plastic version in the same profile, notably GRP it can then be painted a light grey to blend in. It’s a bit OTT in my opinion and accidents do happen so I feel for the guy there will also be as others have mentioned reclaimed where someone has taken them down in full sheets available on places like ebay.'
  17. A couple of sites recently launched. 2 companies from opposite ends of the country and at different stages in their development. Thomson Trees - An Edinburgh Arb Approved tree surgery business Five Valleys Arbor - Based in the Cotswolds and operating throughout Gloucestershire with a full range of tree surgery services. These are just a couple of the sites I have completed recently. I've been too busy to add them to Arbtalk Media so just displaying them here for the time being. Now taking bookings for the new year on all website design. Please get in touch with me via Arbtalk or email me [email protected]
  18. Waste of time and money!
  19. Flipping glad im not out climbing trees today. Weathers turned bitterly cold today with winds and some sleet. Might have to pop the heating on for an hour
  20. Seems this year every time I have about caught up with things and think im going to get a breather, a whole bunch of work all comes out of nowhere, and all on the same day!
  21. Not the same field obviously but im absolutely swamped at the moment
  22. Heard similar horror stories to this in the past, none quite as bad as this though Bank manager died after he was left with broken neck following session with chiropractor, inquest hears APPLE.NEWS An elderly bank manager died after he was left a paraplegic with a broken neck following a "rushed" session with a...
  23. Have you already checked in the tip site directory?
  24. Lifting of the canopy will be better for the tree and long term probably will give you more light. Photos would help though
  25. Well this proved majorly worthwhile, thanks for anyone who shared it out. This is probably responsible for 90% of the new sites that are added to the directory.
