  1. The images have been added to the original post since I made my comment
  2. Without knowing the size of the tree(which you've omitted), its impossible to say. How longs the job going to take you?
  3. Really busy start to the year for me. Had several large projects come in which will probably see me comfortably through to April. Only problem is I am struggling to get my head back into work mode, much like you I guess. My new office should be finished by next week so im hoping a change of scenery may give me the prompt I need
  4. I was discussing this with my dad yesterday, particularly the issue of rows of terraced houses etc, and how people will plug in. We come up with the possible theory that they will introduce 'smart roads' in the future, much like the wireless phone chargers you sit your phones on to charge. You will simply park at the side of the road and your car will charge, and automatically bill your credit card.
  5. These figures are different for electric cars I believe
  6. Vespasian He already told us that battery life couldn't get any better anyway, so really this whole thread is pointless I guess.
  7. Yep thats what im thinking. Leasing is probably the way forward like was suggested earlier
  8. Theres really not a shortage of charging points. Sounds to me like your customer just wasn't that prepared. Pretty sure theres an app to guide you to charging stations too.
  9. Not really into cars but this does look nice Jaguar I-PACE | Electric SUV | 2019 World Car of the Year | Jaguar UK | WWW.JAGUAR.CO.UK Introducing Jaguar I-PACE: our first all-electric SUV and winner of the 2019 World Car of the Year Award.
  10. The Tesla is indeed ugly. with the speed in which electric is moving, my main concern is the resale value of a 3-5 year old electric car
  11. Anyone looked into running electric cars as a company vehicle/quoting vehicle perhaps? From my understanding they are far easier to work into a business than a regular car and offer significant tax benefits. I am considering one for the next tax year.
  12. Oh! https://arbtalk.co.uk/recycling
  13. Wrong section, you need to list yourself here https://arbtalk.co.uk/recycling
  14. As mentioned above, heres a topic I started a while back Generally speaking, enquiries from Facebook are full of time wasters, thats not to say its not worth doing. Any free advertising is worth exploring, just be prepared for the price shoppers, or just people enjoying wasting your time as they have nothing better to do. Website is a must for anyone looking to be taken seriously. I'd be more than happy to provide you a quote for a new site if its something you're interested in. Checkatrade et al, all have mixed reviews with some saying they are great and others saying they are a waste of time. Directree is a new directory just for tree surgeons which might be worth looking at. It has yet to gain traction but one to watch. Theres ample space on the listing to make a good show of yourself even if you don't have your own business website yet. Best of luck with the new business!
  15. Whats Beyonce got to do with it? re competitions, not sure if they will bring that into comps, but one things for sure, if only 1 out of the 5 climbers in the masters used 2 ropes I reckon that alone with give them a distinct advantage on the scoreboard.
  16. fixed
  17. So turns out this is a Y2K style bug 20 years late!
  18. Likely using the same platform as this one. There is an update available, hopefully that will fix it
  19. Just reduces the amount of text visible in the preview when viewing todays posts
  20. Sorry, I understand what it is you're complaining about now. Will look at it as soon as I can. Thanks for reporting
  21. what am i supposed to be looked at exactly? Looks just how it should to me
  22. Send me a screenshot please. All looks normal my end
  23. if you're solely working from your phone then you're probably really better off finding an accounting app than you can work with.
  24. Still have them, and plan on including them in my new regime
