I bought 2 sets of two chains a couple of months ago,the first sets of chains are 14" 3/8 low profile .050 , witch they claimed were FULL CHISEL, BUT they were NOT. they are some ..... form of safety chain with a gigantic annoying bumper link :-( so much for trusting fleabay vendors product description.

the other 2 chains were for my Husqvarne 536 li, witch wears an OEM 12" 0.043 45 drivelink bar, Piranha/Rotatech advertised a set of two chains for Husqvarna 536 Li, witch i added to my order they partially bacause they claimed these also were full chisel, so why not ?? NOT becourse rotatechs chains only got 44 drivelinks and NOT FULL CHISEL :-(

so now i got 4 chains, oh no wait, ive got 4 loops of scrap metal, and ive even paid for it, and im not gonna return it since i live in Denmark and postage to UK would be like 2 stihl chains and a sugi bar.

So please Northernarbsupplies, stop acting like desperate gypsy/china scumbag doorsalesman.

I hope I havent made to many misspells, hmm is that one or two words ? never mind, have good one Ulf

Hi Ulf,

It sounds like you got the wrong chain. Since one of them had bumper links. Similarly with the full-chisel. Perhaps we had an error on our side.

Please can you help me out with the link of the chains you ordered, so we can take a look? For future reference, when you have a problem with an order, it is always better to let us know. Then we can work to solve it.

  • 6 months later...

i have a fair few of them and have had no bother atall other than a slight initial stretch , sharpen fine and cut as good as oregon ones i have but i dont use them all day , but have gone through 2 chains so far with wear and crap dirty logs , so far so good , i even run a full comp 36 inch one on my modded 395 and was no problem , didnt break ans one stretch and its fine , now its been converted to a granberg style ripping chain for the Alaskan mill and has been fine

I got one each for my 201t and 660, both are getting on fine, used it on the 660 to cut way more than the full bar length through nails and the lot and it only needed a tiny bit of touching up

I was expecting slightly less being so cheap but I can honestly say I find no fault (yet:001_smile:)

one niggle with the 12" chain for the 201t is it doesn't have the little lines on the top of the teeth to show the angle that it needs to be sharpened but its no big issue!
