We already tried that!  He got pissed and fell asleep just as I was lining up my best pulling moves...  ?

I don't think I've ever heard rubbish quite like it!

I said "would you like another pint of beer Mr Johnson?"

He admitted defeat and went to bed.

Aye, that sounds more like it, I’d forgotten what a delicate little easily offended flower he was.

Carnival started today. Let's tell all the gangs that will be targeting people who are there to enjoy themselves that the police are putting  in those airport style metal detectors...... That way the gangs can hide their weapons up before the carnival begins. It really does beggar belief.

the betting firms must be doing well out of this

"While you can’t bet on politics or entertainment props in the United States, you most certainly can in the offshore markets and especially in the United Kingdom, whose citizens seem to revel in wagering on what happens in Washington D.C. PaddyPower, an Ireland-based book, has seen a big swing this week on multiple Trump proposition bets.

Most notably, on the prop of Trump ceasing to be president this year – via any means – PaddyPower moved from 10/1 down to 4/1. That means the bookmaker more than doubled the chances of Trump’s presidency ending in 2018.

The odds of Trump being impeached slightly tightened, from 2/1 to 6/4, as did the odds of Trump leaving before his first term ends in 2020, from 6/4 to 5/4."
