I'm not a fan of the 'Cult of Corbyn' or anyone for that matter. Before anyone pipes up with that clatter. Blind faith in a symbolic leader hasn't done people much good in the past.

Churchill was the epitome of a symbolic leader. He also made some pretty big mistakes during his life and career both militarily and politically.

During a time of great uncertainty in Europe, the whole nation got behind him to fight for the common good.

Can you think of any parallels here?

We're in real danger of getting shafted by hostile governments in Europe once again.

Mate, we're never going to see things eye to eye, given your support for the State of Israel. We share similar life experiences, landed on different sides of the coin maybe. Who knows?

:confused1: Where did you get that from?:confused1:

We don't vote for a PM, we vote for MP's who represent a party. In just the same way as May got the job without an election, her replacement would need no election.

I think May will stay longer than most think, but I've been wrong before.

You might be wrong again, Corbyn has just overtaken May in the polls as to who would make the best Prime Minister..

Everything she touches turns to ashes, every marginal seat she visited was lost to the opposition..

She is toxic and they know it..

They have two years to change things round, and the longer she's at the helm the harder that becomes.. get yer money on a change of leader..

What?

Polls can now force an election? :001_huh:

When did this legislation come in?:001_huh:

:lol::laugh1::lol::biggrin::001_rolleyes:
