The president accused European powers of changing peace proposals for Ukraine with "demands" that...

The beloved by some EU cartel would shit themselves if he turned west, you’d soon see all barriers  to UK participation in all things over the channel drop then.
Thankfully the EU army bollocks still plays second fiddle to NATO.

Maccabi fans are well known for violence. I genuinelly think it was a good call to prevent their firm rocking up and wrecking the place, like they did in Amsterdam.

Starmer has condemned restrictions on Aston Villa match amid widespread outrage, but the Israeli club's supporters have a history of violence and disruption

This story just took a turn for the worse.  It turns out that when West Midlands police did their research into Maccabi Tel Aviv some of their information was just gleaned from social media with no double check.  They had to admit yesterday in front of a select committee of MPs that their report even quoted a football match that never took place.  And that an incident in Amsterdam last  year where a Maccabi fan was pushed into a river was inverted to say Maccabi fans pushed Ajax fans into the river.

This would be very embarrassing for anyone.  But this is the research that one of our largest police forces used to decide to ban Maccabi fans.  Someone needs to be held accountable.

Apart from the football, this is going to happen more and more often, people taking social medias as the truth and bypassing any checks - there are a few good examples out there. My favourite this month was an AI thing that read over 2 columns in an article and invented a new disease and I think then went on to find a cure for the disease it had invented! No human checks.

We see it on here too frequently.

Speaking in the context of the wider population, not of Arbtalkers: I reckon we might have reached the inflection point already, where more people get their "news" from socials and AI, rather than actual news agencies. Or "do their own research".

This should be in its own thread really, but on AI doing science, I saw this today.

THECONVERSATION.COM

AI enthusiasts are right that projects like AlphaFold are a huge leap forward, but the philosophy of science shows why...

A good leg pull but I'm out.

With the contributions you’ve made you’d have been better off not bothering coming in.
Your incontinence pants leak during the night or did you just wake up in a bad fettle.

Yes he provides gun and ammo, no centralised funds to pay for them.

Christ SP hardly through the bloody door at what’s supposedly your “ work” and your online.
Are you not capable of doing a full days uninterrupted graft lad.
You are taking a wage off the taxpayers at least make half an effort to earn it.

Seeing as you are skiving online, good to see the pressure is on for some justice finally for the victims of the grooming gangs. I see one girl whom was passed around a group of 10 Pakistani men in Glasgow and another trafficked up from Bradford for a similar group of individuals have both had the guts to speak up. Surely you must condemn such behaviour and admire the bravery of those girls whom have had to fight hard to get recognition from those leftards terrified of upsetting the racial apple cart.

And how is it policed?

Does he provide his own gun and ammo.

I don’t know but nor do I need to know. It’s not for one man to visualise the future or for one central power to try to dictate it. I am appalled at the authoritarian mess that is the present. I’d take my chances with a defunded state and a future that therefore evolves more naturally.
