no it hasn't. Montreal agreement universally banned CFC and other harmful gasses - every country in the world signed up to that it was that important - and the hole in the ozone stopped growing at the same rate, this was about 30 years ago. Currently it hasn't repaired itself, it is still about the same size. To note it took about 10 years to be created, estimates reckon another 40 years or something for it to repair itself.

FFS it took you that long to find that out, how’s the polar bears doing office boy.

@Johnsond How come you haven't talked about this, given that you want to save our women from sex pests?

Mike F Shaw:

"So Farage along with Reform and Tommy Robinson or whatever his name is this week want you to believe they are protecting our women and children from asylum seekers. Every time one is reported they rush to see what colour skin they have before jumping on the scaremongering bandwagon because in all honesty they have nothing else. Both of them have turned hatred into a profit making business and for them it’s lucrative and lining their pockets.

But let’s look at some issues I have with them.

Ashley Derbyshire sentenced to 15 years in prison after being found guilty of grooming, raping and sexually assaulting underage girls in Bolton. Response from Farage and Robinson? Nothing as he was a white British national.

Seven members of one of Scotlands biggest grooming gangs sentenced to life in prison after girls under the age of 13 were subjected to horrific abuse in a drugs den. Iain Owen’s, Elaine Lannery, Scott Forbes, Paul Brannon, Lesley Williams, Barry Watson and John Clark. Farage and Robinsons response? Nothing, they are all white British nationals.

Austin Tobias Fleming sentenced to 24 years in prison for 83 cyber enabled child sexual abuses and exploitation across the UK. Farage and Robinsons response? Once again nothing as he is a white British national.

Karl Davis sentenced to 20 years in prison with 5 years on licence when released for encouraging a young girl to self harm while sexually abusing her over a period of several months. Response from Farage and Robinson? Nothing as he too is a white British national.

The list just goes on and on!

As soon as any sexual assault happens that the assailants do not look like a white British national or does not have a British sounding name then they jump onto social media or get their faces in front of a TV camera to spew forth their own brand of racism.

Yes there are men (and some women) who commit these horrific crimes from all walks of life, racial backgrounds and ethnicity’s and all of them should be brought to justice, their names be put out in the public for everyone to see and know about.

There simply cannot be this level of hypocrisy when it comes to matters such as this, sexual abuse of any type cannot be used as a political football and certainly cannot be used to divide communities based on nothing more than a hatred for particular people.

It was never about protecting women and children, it’s simply racism and being supported because they hate the same people others do and it’s about time people woke up to this."

So are you comfortable with the fact that the state failed to investigate many of these horrific crimes BECAUSE they didn’t want to upset the Muslim community?

But your focus on "the immigrants, the unemployed, the northerners, the gays, the single mams, the loony left, it's time these people paid..."

Shite conundrum. The innocent man might have fallen down some stairs yesterday, irrespective of being attacked.

But he didn’t he was stabbed to death by an illegal immigrant.

No, far from it.

I have friends who work with vulnerable women and they actively pushed for investigation into asian grooming gangs in Newcastle around 2005. The filth decided that nobody would believe the victims in a court and decided to do nothing. It was 10 years after that that the first prosecution, based on the evidence they had had for a decade, went ahead.

My perspective isn't that they didn't want to offend the Muslim community, it was just that the cops didn't consider the victims as human enough to even bother to investigate. They don't like the people wrapped up in sleeping bags, begging for cash.

There has been a shift in the narrative which now puts grooming gangs in the public eye. Why that is happening now is pretty plain to see.

I don't think it should matter if you're Jewish or Buddhist, or even a Reform supporter, if you commit a crime you buy the ticket, you buy the ticket, you take the ride.

Yes totally agree, and I also agree the police knew that in some cases they would be wasting their time as rape cases do rarely result in conviction, as it is simply one person’s word against another.  And if the victim comes over as a troubled dysfunctional person they weren’t taken as seriously as they should have been,

But the IOPC amongst others also said they were scared of causing racial tension.  So if a white man committed rape he was far more likely to be investigated than if it were a Pakistani man.  The state was complicit in sweeping it under the carpet.

That is why it is such a massive issue now.  Not because we’re all suddenly becoming racist.

if they (the police) investigate and find evidence they are obliged to charge you. If they choose not to investigate, nobody will get charged.

I think the whole racial trension thing is just a thing to keep us squabbling.

Seems to be working...

I for one am horrified to think that certain people in some areas will get let off serious crime just because of their race or religion.
