So let me get this right, you think the person who party got the MOST votes is less popular than the person who's party got less votes?

Could you talk me through the logic you are using to come to this conclusion?

Equally baffled. If labour had the same result they'd still be pissed up in the streets doing a conga

Think it's fairly obvious I'm saying the Tories need a proper leader.

You're hard work huck! Must be that thick skull eh?

She got the same % of the vote (or pretty damn close) as Blair when he got his landslide, its just we are currently in a two horse race.

I admire her steel, it would have been very easy for her to do a Cameron and walk away.

Why the insults? I guess you lack sound argument, so just get nasty.

May makes sordid compact with the DUP..

what is given in one hand can be taken away with the other.. Ruth Davidson talks of a loose brexit..

May wont last two minutes as things stand... good bye and good riddance to bad rubbish when she leaves...

You see May as strong and stable? Making good decisions? You can't imagine there are hundreds of people( in the Tory party) who'd do a better job?

Please huck, tell me you're not a May fan!! She's finished, in fact she never really got off the ground did she?

When May thought the time was right,

For an election to strengthen her plight...

The trouble with that one is the obvious final line falls foul of the Arbtalk language policy...

You know I'm not, I posted the fact often enough.

But she actually went up in my estimation when she held firm and stayed put.

I thought Cameron was OK, but lost all respect for him when he quit.

Do you really think a leadership fight is what the country needs right now?

I'm pretty sure she will have her ears wide open for any council others in the party have.

I'd agree vesp, but no fecker listens anyway, especially tree guys who have decent running business with their blinkers on.

I quite like Ruth btw.

Holding firm, is not an achievement!

A leadership fight is exactly, definitely what we need.
