Agreed but I think it should extend to everyone. In the olden days it was a 30 second news bite on the news at 10 that was soon forgotten about.

How many times have folk been on his land with no comeback. Well done to him to tie both up, load them up and drive to town! Give him the freedom of the town and toss the others in the stocks!

This is far from news to anyone who has ever served in the armed forces and witnessed the criminal neglect and cuts that successive governments have inflicted. For the minister to come out with “ we didn’t realise “ type of comments is pure nonsense both parties are guilty on this one.
