The whole honours system is utter rubbish. Totally devalued over many years. War criminal lying ex PM being a good example.

He recommends him, but pretty much everyone who is recommended by an ex prime minister gets a knighthood. I realise Stanley Johnson has been a life  long environmentalist but apart from that I can’t see why he should be recommended.

Those abstentions are tantamount to just putting your hands behind your back and nodding. You know that as well as I do. Or alternatively are you saying the Labour MPs are that bloody intellectually challenged  they didn’t quite understand what had been discussed before the vote.
