OK Mark, you tell us what other public services you would cut to protect the school budgets?

Serious question, how much extra would you be willing to pay to protect schools?

I'm voting Labour - In their manifesto they aren't planning on cutting public services.

So where are Labour going to get all this money to put into public services? The tooth fairy? Down the back of the sofa? Send a letter to Santa?

Many of us here realise that sometimes life involves tough choices. If you think Saint Jeremy can prop up all public services, without consequences, you are deluded.

Don't worry theyll borrow some more to send everyone to university to study media studies for 'free' so they'll all get great jobs and pay the 50% tax rate they want to introduce to pay for it. Although the fact noone has any incentive to better themselves when faced with handing all their money over to people sitting at home might stifle the economy somewhat

What I never understand about Labour supporters is that they're always super keen to increase taxes to pay for public services. If they're so keen to pay more for public services why not just send a cheque to the local hospital etc?

I'm sure Mark J can confirm that he sends an annual donation to his local school and hospital? Doing anything less would be pure hypocrisy on his part.

I send money on a yearly basis to the NHS, it's called National Insurance.

But Mark, you want Saint Jeremy to increase taxes so that he can support public services?

If you really cared about public services you'd already be donating money to them voluntarily.

I think your problem is that you care enough to come on here and tell everyone what an awesome person you are, but you don't care enough to actually put your hand in your pocket.

You're just a pound shop Tory.

The land value tax will pay for a lot of labours policies but it will cream us normal folk, the rich will sell and move on along with their businesses to avoid LVT on their homes and businesses and they'll move abroad to avoid 50% tax which will affect jobs as the work will go with their businesses. Unemployment will go up.

People on benefits will have their benefits increased to cover LVT and low to middle earners on no benefits will get creamed to cover increase in benefits and loss of revenue from businesses moving.

LVT will not affect online businesses but our high streets, restaurants etc will also get hammered.

Any of you guys wanting to buy/rent yards etc I would possibly wait to see how it all unfolds.

I just can't see how labour are looking after the working man anymore?

You really are a moron the working man already contributes to public services now unless mark is a secret millionaire why should he donate again? He may have a family to look after like most of us and other financial commitments.
