I sent him an idea for a children’s book:

“When the wild things went”
A children’s story about a boy called max who had a dream where he went to the wild places…
But they were gone.
Concreted over.
The wild beasts gone…
The end.

I love that book, the illustrations are fabulous, I’ve read it a thousand times and now read it with my own kids, my boy has the same white pyjamas as Max.

Government sector, longer working returning. Veve Nabita Baroness Vere Norbiton Minister roads, buses and places David Wells Chief Executive Richard Burnett Chief Executive 1054262003 25766 00J/2"

There is a Baroness in charge of buses, roads and places. That seems odd to me.

I know of at least three of my mates with HGV licenses that have received these letters, none of them drive for a living and none of them are taking up the offer. Are there 15,000 new civilian drivers appearing or have they just sent out 15,000 pleading letters?

@Johnsond

The media, who'd have them? May be an image of 5 people and text

Mark dry your ****************ing pseudo socialist tax dodging eyes man 🥲 no going back now 😜

On a positive note I see some good things happening at Cambios, just need to start building the whole lot for the renewables and the area wil benefit massively. By the way if I had my way I’d set up a National wind energy company and look at next 20-30 years bud not next 5 or 10. Do as the Americans did under trump and lay the keels of wind farm construction vessels using the Jones act as a lever that plus already building stuff on US soil with US labour. Basically I’m all for a bit of Nationalisation of key to a countries existence industries.

A timely Trump reference JD 👍🏻

Those in the sanctimonious, self righteous, holier than thou anti Trump camp might reflect on the ramblings of Russel Brand on the subject.

Enjoy whilst bathing in the salty tears of neo-liberals the (Western) world over.

Can we have before the news breaks in this thread as well?

Guess what the latest military aid to the civil authorities request is....

post script - apparently the news has already broken: https://www.ambulance.wales.nhs.uk/Default.aspx?gcid=1831&lan=en

Volunteers with C1 licence urgently sought for ambulance driving in Wales.

Not much cop having more ambulances - it’ll just mean there are more waiting to unload at ED
