I’m calm Mull just it’s got to be embarrassing for you trying to dig your way out of the initial bullshit hole you put yourself in regarding this subject. 

It’s embarrassing to say that obtaining a cert in uk is not too difficult? If you fit the criteria there’s nothing difficult/complicated about it.

Since I hadn’t been using my rifles anything like I used to in a previous life I sent them and the ammo to auction to save the hassle of a FAC renewal. Even a shotgun cert and the recent Scottish wanky air rifle cert is enough these days. I’d had a FAC for 46 years, but it’s during the last 10 or 15 I’ve seen a change in our Police Firearm Officer’s attitude towards holders, which is probably no bad thing with the unpredictability of people.

I’ve no interest in obtaining a firearm in the UK. If I wanted any kind of firearm I’d have obtained one in Norway where it’s ridiculously easy to, but I just don’t have an interest. 
 

My personal lack of interest bears no reflection on the second amendment though. 
 

Do you think you’ll ever get to the stage you admit to yourself you made a right arse of yourself when you tried to take on someone who knows more than most when it comes to a FAC? It’s clear to everyone else, I assume it will be therapeutic to someone who holds some much anger within themselves as you clearly do. Your self confessed heavy drinking is not gonna help your self loathing here.

I've fired several rifles, at fun fairs, and won prizes. But I've never fired one in anger. Or at a cat.
