not true, many Syrians have crossed in small boats from France - a safe country.

So do you go somewhere that you know no one or don't speak the lingo?

It was an example of WHY people leave their country, some really narrow views on this site!

There’s a member on here utterly obsessed with “ rape” maybe he will feel some sympathy for the child on this occasion. Another rape by another bogus asylum seeker.

The attack sent shockwaves across Scotland and prompted the country’s first angry protests against asylum hotels.

Extraordinary images suggest Nikzad’s trip through Italy, Germany and France before arriving on British soil was more of a luxury tourist adventure rather than a fight to flee persecution or danger.

The social media images show the migrant posing gleefully outside some of the world’s most famous landmarks, including Rome’s Colosseum, Cologne Cathedral, as he made his way to the UK to claim ‘refuge’.

One picture shows him sporting a North Face puffa jacket, worth more than £300, and smiling in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris as the sun sets.

Funny (sad?) how so much of this is political point scoring, a couple of innocent children shot in an American church doesn't seem to be outrageous enough to mention.

Sad but true unfortunately.

Also sad is the fact that outrageous stuff like this happens all too often in good old USofA, so it's not really news in some respects. Too many fcked up people, and too many guns?

I haven't read the story yet this morning but usual story I reckon:

Disillusioned kid

Gets parents gun (that is meant to be secured?)

Wants to make a name for themselves is currently often the 'reason' (as opposed to previously to settle some score)

Shoots the easy targets

In the US blame will get shifted about but never any responsibility put onto the parents for leaving the gun handy in the first place, and there will be strong defence that the type of gun used has a place in society.

I'll have to read the story later but I bet that is a fair summary?
