how do you Arbtalkers feel about the de-criminalisation of late abortion?

All for it. No doubt women who have to go through with an abortion have enough problems to deal with. Imagine having to make probably the hardest decision of your life and potentionally being classed as a criminal, worrying about it or even charged is ridiculous in that situation.

I think you’d be surprised how many people think the same about the UK.

That’s simply not true is it?

That’s why half the world wants to come here.

Changing the subject a little, how do you Arbtalkers feel about the de-criminalisation of late abortion?

For those who don’t know, the amendment passed yesterday does not allow the UK medical profession to assist in late term abortions; it just allows a mother to order pills by post, and carry out her own abortion at any time before birth.  What she does then I have no idea.  Take the abortion pill then call an ambulance?

Having unfortunately witnessed a late term miscarriage I think it’s a very sad day.

Half the world want to come here for free money. It's not for the weather and Punch and Judy shows.

Britain's despised internationally for being a cunnt to most of the world at one point or another. Reason number million why nation statehood is a bad idea. I didn't partition Israel or Pakistan. I didn't hand out smallpox blankets to red Indians. Some wanker flying the flag I was born under did.

I haven't changed. I've never used state might to starve an Irishman before and I probably won't do it now.

I don't know who the British government is being a twat to at the moment, besides me. Probably more people than you hear from on British TV.

Yes, maybe, no

I was going with no, maybe yes. :)

There would probably be far fewer wars in the middle east, a lot less dead people but for the rest who knows.

Hopefully the UK wont be dragged into this emerging middle east war but with our "special" relationship with the US who knows.

I somehow doubt it.
