Ahh, not the rapist liar then? You'll be defending that one, little bit of hero worshiping the rapist I suspect.

Standard utter BS from Arbtalks number one fantasist blagger, the CIA would struggle to get the truth or a straight answer out of you SP

“ fighting age male comment” and how you stopped it 🤷‍♂️very very simple. **************** me just answer the question.

I'm sure that was discussed before how the UK electricity prices are linked to the price of gas, nothing to do with how the electricity is generated. Suggest you read and educate yourself on that while playing politics you can offer up some credible information

I don’t need to read up and reeducate myself, I make my living from the oil and gas/offshore renewables sector you blagger. I know first hand how this all works, no answers on the question regarding fighting age I see yet despite numerous requests which would suggest you are full of shit 💩
What’s up SP !! You not like facts 😂
I suggest you get back to work, watch you don’t get caught online mind.

So you know how it works and yet, still post misleading information, is that right?

"Leading to net zero"... with electricity prices dictated by gas... which are massively (and I'd say exclusively) influenced by Putin in Russia... and not how hard the wind blows in the north of Scotland.

I'm no expert on global energy supply but that doesn't seem to be a prerequisite in this discussion.

I'd suggest that the reason that our electric is so expensive in the UK is because we're so reliant on natural gas, mainly from Russia. More expensive than France and Germay, as mentioned in the initial article. In the case of the former because they've had lots of nuclear for ages and in the later because they rapidly developed alternative energy sources when Putin kicked off in Ukraine. We were much less proactive for whatever reason.

So, UK electric isn't actually the most expensive in the world because of net zero targets. Quite the opposite I believe in fact. The sooner we move away from NG, and other fossil fuels, and build an energy infrastructure based on domestic renewable sources the better. For all the obvious reasons. If we could even start building some of that infrastructure, rather than letting China sell it all to us, it would do wonders for our flagging manufacturing industry as well. Win win win situation.

Oh yeah, not forgetting trying to reduce energy consumption in addition to cleaner sources. Relatively easy things like insulating houses, and reducing unnecessary car journeys.

Simples. And absolutely nothing to do with 'fighting age', whatever the hell that's about.
