Luckily Mick can get all the wine he wants where he lives.

A few mates and I went fruit picking in the south east of France back in the 80s for Fr50 plus 2 litres of wine a day. The wine was brought daily from the local bistro up into the mountains where we were, in 25 litre jerry cans. The local pickers judged a good wine by how noticeable your hangover was the next day. Taste, terroir, nose weren't factors. This may have been before the vintners and winemakers got together and started doctoring the local plonk with beetroot juice and egg white etc.

The Labour leader purchased a plot of land in the 1990s to give to his parents, who used it to look after...

Nice little earner for our champagne socialist Keir, oh to be in a position where you “didn’t realise” your little field has gone up in value to that extent.

Labour can’t win, get comrade Corbyn in and he’s too far left, swap him out for Starmer and he’s a champagne socialist. That said they’ve only had two leaders in recent times.

It’s ok he didn’t realise

We’ve got the biggest bunch of corrupt Tory’s that have had the country away for billions and you pick up on Starmer’s £400k. Although I agree with you sometimes, other times I think you need to give your head a wobble.

How did I know it would be countered with a tories are worse comment. I totally agree that all of them including the current government are hugely self centred,!wasteful and given the opportunity ( which the last two years lunacy and cries for protection certainly did) greedy who  will-line their pockets at the first opportunity, although with the odd notable exception I will admit. I’ve said this on innumerable occasions, the difference is I don’t hold up my favoured opposition on a holier than thou pedestal. £400k for the incidental field £480k for the house 🤔not a sniff off a million 🤷‍♂️Not bad at all. He’s got about as much in common with the average working man as JRM in reality. So I’ll refrain from wobbling my head for now.

Of course it was going to be countered with the tories, you’ve posted a link about the wrongdoing of the Labour leader for gawds sake. And to be fair how many politicians from any party have anything in common with the working man?
