2 seemingly similar scenarios in fairly quick succession. 
 

1 alleged perp a white copper in London

1 an immigrant in the Shires

 

1 is internationally news worthy

the other no more than the local rag.

Yes he did Stubby, not surprising given the previous few weeks he's had.
