There are literally hundreds of bunkers along the coast here,if you like that kind of thing. Give me a shout next time you are in the area and we can see the former Uboat pens etc.

Cheers Mike

Crazy thing is due to current madness we were quarantined on the vessel and not allowed any shore leave.
I’m not a bunker nerd ? but do find the history of it all interesting.

Had a bunch of Nazi stuff around my house in Stavanger. As the house over looked the airport (which the Nazis built in the first place) and we where on a hill there was all sorts of relics there.

An older lad with us (mid 50's) said when he was a kid they found a Nazi stash including grenades. They ended up blowing a dry stone dyke and had to spend the summer holidays rebuilding it.

If you look at the urban/rural stats it quite possibly is (in your favour).

Who is really classed as a minority though? or who would you like to see classed as a minority?

There seem to be quite a lot of tv programmes about rural life, are those representative in terms of time given when compared to the national population and should they be?

I think this is a fair point.

There seems to be a disproportionate amount of action movies featuring superheroes.

Either way, it's good to see balanced debate.

At the end of the day, TV shows are there to generate revenue from advertising. That could be for a product or an ideology.

Whatever is topical, or is soon to be topical, will be what's delivered.

learned very quickly that debating with the likes of yourself is utterly pointless. You yearn for the beige utopia that you imagine could exist.  Myself no thanks.

When you say the "likes of yourself" that appears to mean someone who disagrees with your point of view and challenges what comes across as your intolerance to alternative viewpoints.

Just out of curiosity... Why a "beige utopia"?  it just seems a strange turn of phrase.

What is the society that you " yearn for" ?

Personally I don't have an issue with the current make up of British society and think that diversity spreading out from the urban areas will be good for the country as a whole,  and I hope for my children to be able to live in a tolerant and diverse society wherever they choose to be.

Going by Hollywoods 'woke' offerings these last couple of years its clear that the general public do not wish to have this pish rammed down their throats.

Get woke go broke, at least on the silver screen seems to be a thing. Its harder to see the effect on the small screen as its easy to blame other factors, ie C-19 on loss of revenue and not that a sizable percentage of the population are sick to the back teeth of it.
